Dining Table Glitch Fix Upon resetting your game scene after unlocking the "Meaty" achievement, your game may be softlocked. The dining table may not be interactable. You need to completely close your game, select continue on the main menu & you should be able to progress! Hope this saves someone starting a new game like me, which didn't work either.

Thanks Maka, great guide as always. Only glitch I had was it wouldn't let me place the shotgun on the table before making the curry. I just quit the game, restarted, continued, played to the end and unlocked the remaining 2 achievements.

i had that glitch too but with the meal. i worked for me after a few tries. info: after finishing the game, its possible to select scenes. so no harm is done if someone skips a scene. easy to collect them gamerscores.

37:50 I cooked this stew correctly over 10 times following exactly what maka did. And every time it finished looking like I came in the bowl. I was seriously frustrated and after cooking for the 15th time. I was about to throw it in the sink and it turns out the textures were glitched. When walking up against the sink the bowl would glitch between being cooked and not cooked. Then walked over to the table and same thing happened. Walked against the table for the stew texture to glitch and show it was cooked. Finally sat down and the achievement popped. No wonder nobody bought this garbage and Xbox gave it to us for free. -_-

Great walkthrough Maka, always appreciative of your content. Everything worked for me up until making the four meals towards the end of the game. Having completed the game, if you follow making the curry and stew and your dish looks like 'white grovel' this is most likely the textures in the game - move around with the bowl/plate in your hand and the textures change dependent on the background. Secondly, when making the 3rd meal, the stew, the game wouldn't let me place the shotgun on the table. Having read the comments, credit goes to 'Kasphomet' - pick up the shotgun, throw it on the floor, open your journal, inspect the shells/bullets on the shelf and then pickup the shotgun from the floor and proceed to place it on the table. That worked for me! I think it may be glitched when restarting the scenes or the game thinking you don't have the shotgun in your hand for some reason.I hope this helps anyone that runs into this glitch, for some reason restarting the game did not fix this for me. All in all, an easy 1000g!

Cheers for the guide, some bits of this game were really wonky and at the end I had to restart the game because the prompt for putting the shotgun to the table didn´t appear, but still relatively easy 1000 gamerscore. Also Adios.. where I heard that name before ? =)

You have to aim for his right arm after either grabbing Root Bear or Slam Soda. Otherwise the hitman yeets the cans all over the place. His aim isn't as good as yours, clay pigeons and horseshoes proved that. 😉

If the shotgun/cooking segment glitches on you at all throw the shotgun on the ground while you are in the basement, examine/read the journal, and examine the shells. Pick it back up and you should be able to place it on the table in the dining room. For some reason it kept not allowing me to do this because of the open journal prompt cancelling it out I guess.

On the goat part I didn't skip the dialog but I missed the first shot so I ended up restarting the scene, skipped the dialog, got him with both milk shots and I got the achievement, I didn't have to wait for the end to do a chapter select, oh and I aimed at his chest too

Great video. I had to replay the goat to unlock that, despite doing the same thing on main play through. However, although I now have 1000/1000, the overview says 950/1000 - when I click on it, 1000/1000 - 25 out of 25. Tried relaunching, reinstalling, but stays as 950/1000.

I experienced another strange bug. At meal number three at the kitchen ... It was impossible to place the shotgun on the table. I couldn't get the option however how I placed myself relative to the table.

@@chrisr6768 : I waited for a day or two ... and reloaded the same scene and tried again. This time it worked, and I finally managed to get 1000 of 1000 gamer score. I didn't need to play through the whole game again, just waiting it out for a while ... and then it worked as it should. 🙂
