This something Great Escape desperately needed, now I think the park is actually friendly to guests who like chill rides and guests who like the extreme rides! I personally can’t get enough of this ride! Great video!

I love Vomatrons. They are so relaxing. The lady operating it lost her shit with us and said we were nuts with the amount we were riding and after a full meal too. Sad we lost ours in OZ along with a funtime slingshot at a small little corner park. I have to find the darn video as there's my cousin and I on the slingshot and we are just facing each other have an entirely normal conversation from the moment we board, through the launch and entire ride until we come to a stop, and then we just exit the ride as if the past 3 minutes didn't even happen and we were completely oblivious to it, just chatting away. It's really funny. This was in 2009 just before my back started to really play up and I never did a bungee again after that, but slingshots are fine cause they are so smooth (well the non elastic band ones are anyway). BTW, in an unrelated note, I found the old 8MM tapes that has very early footage and multiple night POV's of Luna park Sydney Arrow big dipper, with the ride ops riding the entire thing without the harnesses down whatsoever, they were horizontally at their highest position the entire ride. I have some truly crazy and unforgettable memories. Maybe I should upload it, I mean it was 24 years ago, it's not as if any sort of trouble can come from it now. Just need to find an 8mm cam to transfer it.

The ops doing that on Big Dipper sound like Geno on Kennywood's Thunderbolt. He would stand up to oil it as the train cycled. I much prefer Vomatrons to Slingshots.

@@CanobieCoaster He sounds crazy too. As you yourself know, the BD now at Dreamworld, has no negative G's at all, only positive, so they were safe enough but apparently they did it all the time after park close lol.

This seems to be an On-Ride POV, not Off-Ride footage. Enjoyed it though.

The capacity would be a problem at New England. It may be fine at America.

Wait, it really has an 8 minute cycle?

Yes because it stops at the top while the other side loads.

Is it Vomatron or Vomitron? I always thought it was the latter.

The flips are really intense at last when I rode it a few days ago. Also I think the rocking is a little much, it’s just annoying
