I feel like if this scenario was to become true than WW3 would last longer than the entirety of WW2. The reason being for my hypothesis is that everything has gotten bigger, including the size of the worlds militaries, the amount of countries involved in being allies with one anther and the technologies included making everything more efficient, which would give armies time more time to plan.

The amount of fighting people vs people in the population is a lot lower. Even with a draft, the level of technology we have now has allowed us to deploy less people power for more destructive power. WW3, could be longer, I won't argue that, although I believe the actual amount of human participants will be lower than what we've seen in the great World Wars.

japan, australia, india and usa have made a treaty where if china does something bad (like invading taiwan) then they all would come together to fight china off. Therefore, india cannot stay neutral after the invasion of taiwan and has to intervene. Yes, russia did save india in 1971, but things have changed. Russia has ruined its reputation by invading ukraine and india does have many european allies too (who are fighting russia because they are part of nato). All things considered, india would pretty much be forced to be on the blue team.

@@penguin9257 i don't that that will happen. Most of indian defence equipment is Russian. If we join the war, Russian supply of spare parts and their maintenance services will stop. Which won't be coming to India either way as Russia is in war, but if india joins the war, it will hurt us very badly. Secondly, as both china and USA and most of the economic powers of the world are in war, India will be getting much more money from trade. ( by selling to those places that are not in the war but are hit badly by the supply chain disruption ) India wouldn't be as stable as it is today, but it will be better off then others. Pakistan might do something as they are put on a leash by china, but their economy is doing very not good. And china will need to get involved and help them, which in turn will weaken other Chinese fronts. So I don't think china will be attacking India using Pakistan. Although my logic might be flawed, and things can go the other way.

It is a great video, but as a Korean, I really cannot agree that South Korea and North Korea would go back to their original borders before 1950. South Korea will actually LOSE territory if that occurs. But I do not actually think the South will immediatly annex the North either. The two nations have so big gaps on economically and a fast annexation would wreck the economy(you all know how much Germany struggled to recover their economy after an unexpected reunification). Also it would be expected that there would be an amount of time needed to actually militarily control the North, after a huge war. In order to make an actually safe place for citizens to live, at least 10 years would be expected. So, I think South Korea will annex a little bit of land to the 39th parralel(because there are very important infrastructures there) and puppet the rest of the North. After giving economic aid to make the nations economically similar, then the annexation of the western lands will take place and there will be a full reunification

Realistic lol some many nuances are ignored in this video. Also one big thing that is being ignored is potential attacks on America and Canada. We simplify and act like war will never hit our shores and I think that is a big mistake. Kinda like the Romans they had troops every were but Rome became so comfortable that they forgot to protect Rome. The USA may be on the same path. My whole issue with "WW 3" is that, like the current conflict, the previous 2 were basically European-centric. Previously the colonies had no choice so the European conflicts were bound to engulf most of the world. But today, half the countries would try to stay neutral. In the end the only two powers with any salt are Russia and China, if they don't go crazy and start attacking a bunch of countries, it will just be posturing, no war.

If you go back and check, all countries declared war on a specific country and not like the blue team vs red we use while trying to visualise. Also Germany, being the chad it was, was the only power really fighting a two front war. I know USSR was fighting Japan too, but those were just skirmishes.

As an Indian, I would say India would be on the red team. Even though there are historical enemies of India on the red team, Russia is probably the only reason an Indian teenager like me, is alive today. (1971 Indo-Pak War i.e. Russia fought literally the whole world to defend India). Without the Russians, India would have been taken over and split between China and Pakistan. In simple words, Russia + India vs US + UK + Pakistan (also India was in a really bad state then so only Russia was fighting effectively.) We need to pay back the Russians, so, Red Team.

I think an interesting video idea would be a war over Russia. Imagine Russia as a whole just falls over night, and countries fight over its territory to determine new borders. I think it would be interesting to see how countries would start wars and break alliances over gaining some of Russia.

So what I think would be interesting is that there are countries like Syria, Yemen and Ethiopia which are in a state of civil war. So, there is a chance that while the regimes are focused on world war 3, the rebels/terrorists could steamroll and take over the country. Then, who knows what will happen. So far, what the video says is prolly the best simulation so far but in irl, the militias/insurgents could play a massive massive role.

i know this is a scenario, but i would doubt lebanon would join the red team, because they wouldn’t want to be steamrolled by Israel and because they are an ally of the US. Also the reason why they wouldn’t join the red side is their history with Syria where they got invaded during the Lebanese civil war . but anyways i enjoyed the video :)

this is a fun video but completely imagination, because as you said russia doesnt have its whole army in the war, it has 900k ''soldiers'', but that figure can be decieving around only 250k of those 900k are ground troops, most of them already being in ukraine, the rest being pilots and in the navy, so russia being able to push ukraine, hold nato and even push the baltics is very unlikely. if the frontline went from finland, through estonia and down to romania russia would be stripped thin and its air would be no match for the american airforce, rendering russia's whole army useless

India will neither fight for either cause but to defend it's borders and maybe to help out Taiwan and other South East Asian Nations. It also has good relations with Iran and Russia. Hence it will not engage with the blue team rather its offensive will be more focused on China as it has been a thorn for India for a long time. It might even engage China to recapture the Chinese occupied Indian territories and Tibet (this greatly depends on the government), or it might play the waiting game like what America did during both the World Wars (1 and 2). So, India will not take a stance in this war but will take action to maintain its interests and help its neighbors. There is a possibility of Pakistan initiating a war of attrition at its borders with India at the behest of China to curtail Indian advances into Chinese territory. There will be huge naval battles in the pacific and the Indian oceans with Chinese forces if India engages in this war with China.

I see you left out Moldova. You have to remember though Russia supports the independence of Transnistria inside Moldova and already has some troops there. Also on Russian state television they have already mentioned several times that Russia wants to link up borders with Transnistria. Moldova has already declared their desire to join the EU and NATO. Moldova would most certainly get involved one way or another. Also I don't think Yemen would play a part as it is dealing with its own civil war with multiple parties involved. If it would get involved it would be blue. The internationally recognized government of Yemen is being backed by Saudi-Arabia. Maybe with a pocket of red due to the Iranian supported Houthi controlling a sizeable area.

I think you might be overestimating the capabilities of russia especially after they have used most of their advanced wepons in Ukraine. I'm not positive on Iranian capabilities and I know Saudis are overhyped but I think with the US's help it would be somewhat comparable to dessert storm until the mountains are reached. I also think you may be overestimating the Venezuelans, they are in no shape to fight and have been on the brink of collapse for years. I doubt theyre populous could even handle the declaration of war without udder collapse of the regime. I also think that china is in many ways accurate in this fight but possibly overhyped. About a third of chinas economy comes from trade mainly with the west, not only would this trade stop from the war, the US navy could stop anything else. I could easily see this be the absolute crumbling of the chinees economy and potentially regime. I Also question if china could take tiwan in the first place, maybe with the US so distracted but its still a bigger task than we all think and china doesnt have the fleet or landing craft for an invasion. They would scramble every civilian ship they could but those would have limited capability. All around too I think the US is underhyped in this, it is absolutely insane how powerful the US is compared to any other country. I understand they are far away but they have military bases all over the world and have response fleets, air squadrons, and the best intelegence that could be in any conflict within days. In WW2 we fought a war on several fronts and won every theater. Not trying to shit on your video I thought you did a good job and added many things that are likely and that I had never thought of before. I'll give it a like

The power of European countries is also underhyped, considering when America is distracted with Cuba and Venuzuela Russia wipes the floor with Europe. Considering how the advanced weapons are used in Ukraine and how that war showed how shaky the military is countries like France, Spain, Italy, UK, Germany and Poland could easily put up a fight. Additionally, from the horse's mouth, Putin admitted he considers the UK and how quick and mobile their light infantry is, a bigger threat then the USA military might.

If all of NATO and the US were to go to war against any country it would end pretty fast. Just the US alone should send shivers down any Russian or Chinese solider. Just look at the Navy/Air Force recruitment ads. What other country boats 3-5 aircraft carriers and flies fighter jets just to prove a point? Nobody.
