Thanks Brian. I have been wondering about the difference in brightness. I have the Inno Pocket Spots, and have always been a bit disappointed in the 12 watt diode.I may have to consider the Pro for that very reason. What a difference in the start-up!!

Technically you can change the gobos in the pocket spot, but I wouldn't really in either as you'd have to replace the entire wheel or risk off balance motoring with attaching an insert. I did replace the fans however with noctua ones that are basically silent and perform incredibly well.

Hi, A few are asking about the front facing modes are they the same as the pocket spots ? 3 and 4 front facing 3 being vertical? Also the little remote have you ever tried it? I tried , when i choose the gobo say number 3 then go to change the colour say 6 the gobo changes and vise versa do you know if there is a save step? to save the gobo settings or colour settings and move on to another without it effecting the other??

Thank you for the your amazing videos. Some of these products are discontinued now. I want a couple of spot moving head for home usage only. I realize ADJ Pocket Pro is the closest one to want it need but it's out of my budget. What product do you recommend that does the same thing? Thank you.

Graphic Society the stinger spots are cheaper at my local Dj shop they were at 178 for a while I think regular price is 199 they basically do the same thing just smaller , less brighter and no it remote but for home usage it’s perfect in mobile dj’s they could work for small areas

Pretty funny seeing the difference in startup calibration. Both of them turn the axis until they hit the limit and set that as a home position. The pocket pro knows it has hit the limit of travel when it hits a limit switch and stops. The Inno knows it hit the limit of travel because... Well, it doesn't.

falcondj181 it could work also the spots come with an ir attachment for your phone so you can use the app , it works okay for mobile djing but ultimately a dmx is best

Hello Brian what show mode do you have them on at the end of the vid? I mount mine vertically and would like to know what is the best show mode to get front of house hit most of the time. Also when I had my inno pocket spots I had to do pan & tilt invert to get them to look like yours do but now that I have the Pocket Pro I only put one to yes and one to no on the slave unit to get that cross beam affect. Thank you for your vids they help a lot brother. Hopefully see you at NAMM I will be there again with Marathon.

I just set them on show 4 and do a pan inversion and it seems to work well. By the way I mount them horizantal on individual speaker stands

Hey dj ernie, its dj ernie in houston. Do they make your speaker stand lean when you place them on their. I am thinking about getting two pocket pros, it seems they have the same function as the focus spot 2 fixtures.

No they do not lean. They are really weight weight and I use Gator ID Framework speaker stands

How do you program the Pocket Pros to project forward only. I contacted someone at ADJ and they told me you can't. Is this true?

That's a show mode feature. Show Mode 3 will do what you want :)

Less than 25w led isn't a decent light for me.... Pocket is I good range price/quality but I love showtec 60w moving head, so intense light and small size.

I think the pocket spot is closer to $250 and the pocket pro is $300. Also according the adj website the pocket spots are discontinued.

i would not buy the pocket spot again purely for the reason of the noisy start up.the pro seems far better value for money.

I never understand why adk discontinues new products like Adj inno scan led and HP yet they still sell the pocket scans and pocket rolls

@@Lucrativecris The Inno Scans are not new at all. They were most likely discontinued because no one wanted them anymore. The Inno Scan HP is big, bulky, and highly priced for what you get. At the time, the Chauvet Intimidator Scan 305 IRC was a much better option.
