Overall, very good install video. A couple errors/omissions: The Torx bolts are T30, not T25 (at least on my M3P). You forgot the two small Phillips-head screws that secure the rear cover fascia to the factory supports. It’s much easier to plug the purple plug in first, secure the white retainer, then bolt down the trim w the two Torx bolts. Thank you!

Just installed, great video! We are unsatisfied though because the screen now sits crooked. Install went smoothly, just a little difficult to snap some of the trim pieces in.

thanks for posting i am really interested in getting this modefication, they only slightly disappoining thing is the finish on the undseide suggests it will not be as tidy as the original piecre you removed, i am thinking this as you did not show the underside finished. otherwise a great video and install , best wishes from ireland

I love the idea of the swivel screen. The install does not look too complicated, however the replacement parts do not appear to be the highest quality plastics.

I just installed on my 23 M3 SR. I have two issues/concerns. 1) when you disconnect the screen and then plug it back in you will have to do a double scroll wheel reset (and it will take about 30-45 seconds before you will see the Tesla "T") 2) the main cover does not quite fit without using the supplied pry tool to pry the dash up so that the clips will go under the dash

My bracket is loose when I bolted it down. It looks like it's about 1/8" different from stock. The T20 torq bit that came with the kit is also smaller than my stock bolts. I have a 2022 model 3

I want one, but the only thing is the sensor plate. At 9:08 it appears really loose, putting the final plate he bumps it and the whole sensor moves. Was it just not clipped in right? Mine will 2022 MY-LR any changes to the kit?

No need to worry about the sensor plate! once everything is installed, it sits in tight and correct

I installed mine but after a few turns the black nut on top of the Mount keeps coming loose. Have you felt with this?

I understand the screen sits by 2 inches lower OEM height. Is this correct?

NO! the Screen is just that, a Screen. It's the same as changing you'r Computer screen. It's not like it has a critical function for the car to work!

Will Tesla void the warranty?

NO! Federal Law prohibits such actions Federal Warranty Law: The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) The Magnuson-Moss Act regulates that vehicle manufacturers may NOT refuse warranty repairs merely because aftermarket parts have been installed on the vehicle. The only circumstance under which the vehicle manufacturer can void the warranties is when they can prove the aftermarket part is directly responsible for (ie causes the warranty) the warranty claim.
