Adjustable sensitivity automatic street light circuit

Relay 6v
BC547 transistor
10K pot
LDR
Battery

Yes off course, actually I too had confusion . battery is connected to relay coil it will drain out the battery very quickly. Because for DC a coil is only a short circuit so it will drain battery quickly. Why can't we use AC with a relay??

You can use upto 6v here for 6v relay, but you can use 12v relay with 12v input
