There are three different ways of adjusting your Rolex oyster bracelet to make it fit perfectly and comfortably. Let’s take a look at using the easy link system, how to make make adjustments on the Rolex bracelet and also how to remove or add links to your Rolex.
Use the right tools! (Unlike me.)

Hey Marc, Great video! I've owned Rolex watches for over 30 years and have a small collection. My GMT Master II was a bit loose due to some weight loss. I was about to take it to the local watchmaker as I generally do with these valuable timepieces. But before I did, figured I'd check KZbin. As I watched your video I got the extra 5 mm adjustment you spoke of. Wow, it now fits perfectly again! Thanks so much for sharing, extremely valuable info for me! Michael

I have worn my GMT II slightly loose for over four years and had no idea this type of adjustment was possible. I watched your video and made the minor adjustment on the bracelet clasp and now the watch fits perfectly! Outstanding video and thank you for making it!!!

Thank you Marc about telling how to adjust the watch band because I want to remove a link to get it a bit more snug on my wrist. I thought that those tiny things in the links were pins and was going to try and drive one out but you showed me that they are screws and as you were showing us that they were screws I looked at them with a magnifying glass and saw that they are screws. Now I won't try to drive the pin out. You were a big help on that. Thanx again.

Good video Mark, thanks... I'd also recommend you use loctite thread lock to lock the thread on the screws and a watch block to hold the bracelet firmly while adding/removing links.

RichReviewsm Good advice. I’m here with a Pagani (I’ve better things to spend my money on than a Rolex) and I adjusted the strap on my “homage” (thought that might make you laugh”) and then when I was pulling an anchor up the bracelet fell apart and the whole assembly fell onto the foredeck. I picked it all up and thanked god it wasn’t worth many thousands of dollars/pounds/euros. Back home I took all the screws out and then loctited them in. I’ve not had a problem since and am now on my second Pagani. God bless aliexpress.......

Knew about the half link, did not know about the micro adjustment. Good tip. Here's another tip. I use the rolex screwdriver/pin tool. When I'm removing or replacing a screw pin, I use my fingers as a guide and pinch the screwdriver blade so that the flat blade doesnt slip out and scratch the link. The other key is taking your time and not rushing to get the screw in or out.

Had a problem with my GMT Master went to Wempe, they opened the back adjusted cleaned and checked for time keeping (+ 3.5) it all took about 20 minutes, they didn’t charge me a cent. If you buy from an A.D like Wempe the service is so good you don’t need to do it yourself.

Also, most places will DESTROY your watch in resizing! I am not joking. It is astounding how nearly every single place I have gone to over the years made things worse and damaged links, screws, etc. Unless it is a really good watchmaker I will do it myself.

Marc, I have a 1992 Sub with a stainless/gold very loose/stretched out Oyster band. It only has two screws near the clasp but the rest of the links are so stretched out, it's ridiculous. I can't figure out how to remove the links that don't have screws. I am hoping to take the gold sleeve that runs down the center of the bracelet and put a more pronounced "C" shape to it in hopes of bringing the links together. Is there a tool out there that will pull open those screwless links? Or...do you have a better suggestion how to tighten u this watch band?

Hey Marc! Do you know how many MM there are in between the 3 micro-adjustments on the Rolex clasp? I can’t get any real solid info on this. I measured it and it seems like it’s 1/8 of an inch apart which converts to roughly 3mm. Is this correct? Thanks Marc.
