To whom this may concern esp for the family of the Receiptiant of the new set of lungs.I know exactly what you’re going through because I had a double lung transplant done for myself on 10/31/2023 and was released from the hospital right after thanksgiving but 10days later I was back in the hospital for RSV and PNEUMONIA.Now I’m back home after a six day bout in the hospital.Now I go to rehab 3 times a week and see my transplant dr every other week i hope you keep your faith in God and can keep your support close to you as well one saying I have too tell myself every day is to keep fight and always remember to NEVER Give Up .WERE NOT QUITTERS and god is with us through our journeys STAY STRONG STAY SAFE AND KEEP YOUR FAITH IN GOD

I desperately hope everything works out. After being told he had less than a year to live without a double lung transplant, after suffering with COPD for a decade, 6 years on oxygen, COVID happened, and all surgeries wait times became insane, my Dad got called 9 times for a pair of lungs, and each time, something was wrong with them in the end, and he was sent home again. Finally, 2.5 years after being told he had less than a year to live, he got THE call, and the lungs were good, and he got his transplant. He had a very difficult recovery, especially with it still being the peak of COVID, but eventually he recovered and came home, and for the first time in a decade him and my Mom started living their lives again, and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. They were like teenagers again. Then one day, 6 months after his transplant, he got a fever, and he got very, very sick, very, very quickly. He had COVID because someone he knew thought it was a hoax, and that it was not really contagious, so when they got sick they didn't bother staying away from my Dad. Two days later he was in the ICU, and he never came home again. He died 7 weeks later, his brand new lungs completely destroyed from the COVID, and nowhere near healthy enough to survive another transplant. I pray for your son, and your entire family, and I hope my Dad will watch over your boy, and keep him safe. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love to read Revelation 21:3,4 where it says god will wipe out all sickness and death on earth soon. There will soon be a resurrection of all those sleeping in death. Because to god they are just sleeping until he brings them back to live forever on paradise earth. Luke 20:38. Those who have health issues will be permanently healed just like Jesus did when he was on earth.

Lung transplants are predominantly a failure. Body rejection to Transplant, is v common phenomenon. Certain transplants must always be discouraged!!!
