Adorable Friendship Between a 3-year-old and the Garbage Man

One adorable friendship has gone viral between a 3-year-old and the man who picks up her trash every week.
The little girl’s mom says he’s one of her daughter’s favorite people.
For most, garbage day isn’t exactly a day you get dressed up for.
But Thursday’s are a special day for 3-year-old Brooklyn Andracke.

Unsung heroes. I was jogging one morning in my suburban Chicago neighborhood when I saw that someone’s trashcan had overturned, and 100’s of pieces of trash were all over the lawn and street. When I came back 20 mins. later, the garbage team had been there, and the lawn and street were spotless. They could have just taken what was left in the can and left all the debris, but they took the time to pick up every single piece of the mess on the street. Hard workers, and a huge part of what makes a community work.

I'm late, but my phone has been autoplaying all these videos of garbagemen with kind hearts I hope garbagemen everywhere know that they have respectable, wholesome jobs that quite literally make their communities a better place to live in. Size, noise, action, all right outside their front door (up close and personal). Many littles are interested trains, construction equipment, tractors, etc. For city kids, the garbage truck is comparatively accessible and frequent.
