While Gordon's car isn't nearly as aerodynamic or performance capable as Newey's design is, it can be argued that no one has had more of a hands-on approach and pure passion behind every single detail of a car's development as he has. How can you seriously try to pick holes in a car that was designed by Asian Newey. You honestly have the cheek to say it must have a design fault if he has to have the door open to reverse. Obviously he could've reversed using the mirrors. But it was probably easier and safer in terms of not reversing into something behind the car to do so with the door open. I'm sure that if you were fortunate enough to own a car that rare and valuable then you'd want to e a bit extra careful when you drove it!!!!
