I cant listen to this song without sobbing. I've called the suicide hotline for my area 9 different times. Somebody managed to talk me down 8 of them. I failed the third time. The last time I had to calm the woman down because I ended up pointing the gun at a mirror and shooting the mirror instead of myself. I had to calm the sobbing woman down because she had thought i had done it. That made me realise just how much it means to other people. And that made me want to get the help i needed.

When Eric got out of the hospital he found an automatic and shot the boys that jumped him before school even started. He was in prison for 8 years and now he’s out. I swear every single time I listen to this song I get chills.. It's a very strong song/video. Depression is hard; not easy to overcome it but that doesn't mean you have to end your life. We're all strong people, it's in our blood. If you feel depressed, unwanted, unloved, or just feel like you want to end it all.. Just know that you have people who love you, people who care about you, people who get affected by your pain. You are indeed unique. There is no other person like you.. 7 billion people and non of them can replace you. Can you imagine that?? Be strong; I promise everything will turn out just fine :)

I have fortunately never been depressed but this just made me cry. Thinking about what my friends go through, they are constantly asking themselves if they want to live, how effed up is that? The fact that I may not see my bestfriend tomorrow messes with me so much. The fact that my last words to my friend could be "I hate you" might eat me up everyday for the rest of my life. This is the reason why I never want to fight with her, never want to leave on a bad note. She deserves to be told you beautiful she is, how much I love and appreciate her, how much she deserves to live.

The intense crying and hopelessness. Not with a gun but with pills. It’s been on and off every few months for more than half my life. For all the people saying, “ I didn’t cry.”, that’s good that means you have a good life, but not all of us do. Some of us relate to this on a very personal level do to depression, sexuality, anxiety, and so many factors. i can say personally this is an accurate representation of depression, note:he was happy and smiling at the beginning, then in days, was ready to shoot himself. It is also a great representation as to what its like to be made fun of for sexuality, being openly pansexual i can say that it isnt easy getting through all of that, especially being seen with a person of the same gender. for everyone else who has those thoughts, the name of the song is the number for the suicide prevention hotline, although i myself never used it, i have heard from friends that they really help

This is why I love artists who actually write about meanings and not just stupid things. In saying stupid it is not at all to demean them or their work. I think that connecting with a song makes it much more special and meaningful logic was able to touch peoples hearts and help them. I have been battling with depression and anxiety and recently I developed PNES because of it. I didn’t realize that it had got that bad until it was already too late. People need to know you are not alone that you can fight these battles with others and people do care about you! I hope someone reads this today and finds just a little bit of hope behind this.
