Probably because there's a difference between "haha Bugs is so wacky, he kissed Michael Jordan to fuck with him haha but he's all about that rabbit puss" and "two characters having a bit of chemistry and kissing like people do". Zach and Alex's kiss isn't a joke, it's revealing that Alex is gay and had a crush on Zach. These guys can find some humor in it because it's a little random, and Alex almost fell off the roof in a weird bonehead idea from Zach, but the presentation of it, the SHOW isn't going "haha aren't these two guys weird haha ew one guy kissed the other" and I think that makes all the difference for Adam.

I don't understand how this show's screenwriters were able to crank out four seasons of this tripe. It doesn't seem like the story in the source material would lend itself to anything more than a one-season mini-series. Like, maybe this is lost on me because I haven't watched this show, but what does the "13 Reasons" in the title have to do with what's currently going on in the fourth season? Wasn't that something to do with the girl committing suicide at the outset of the series? How have they kept this going for so long?

Clay’s face is weird because his new hairstyle is designed to hide his receding hairline. You’ll see in the previous seasons he had a mad widow’s peak with a small bit of a front combover to try hide it, but now his hair is completely pushed down onto his forehead to make it look like a normal human hairline. Plus with his hair so short on the sides just above the ears but longer just above that his head looks like it gets wider the higher up it goes
