Was it the Allen key to Philips to hex that you love, the axle carriers that have to be mounted to the axle and then bolted to the rails, or the fact that everything is identical meaning you have extra weight in places that don’t need it because they were too cheap to redesign something. I get the appreciation for the robinhood nature of Floatwheel but there are no marvels of engineering taking place here. It’s a simple copy and paste, China style.

@@biiiiiiiiiix This is the best motor plug out there by far, looks absolutely great. FMs motor plug on the GT is that bad you have to replace the locking ring with an aftermarket metal one after 1 or 2 tyre changes. The last thing you want is you motor unplugging itself. This motor plug is going to insure confidence 100%

That motor plug looks great! Love how robust it looks. The motor axle carrier bolts worry me a bit, they look fairly small and I hope they aren’t prone to getting broken.
@EryktionКүн бұрын
It's the same as for the adv1. I did not hear of any broken bolts there. Edit: Oh, do you mean the small ones at the bottom? Yeah, they can break, but they’re not really necessary. I think they’re just for convenience when attaching the rails, so you can quickly fix them in place before installing the actual screws on the sides.

Is there no plug for the front pad!?
@EryktionКүн бұрын
I believe it's the same design as the ADV1. There’s a contact point on the bottom of the footpad and another on the top of the box lid. You just place the pad on the box, and it's connected. This worked quite well for the ADV1.

Great work Toni, But... Please give us adv1 users that new BMS. / Drivetrain upgrade to purchase. I had the first full shut-off lately, when i was on a very low battery and slow so i could walk it out, but damn, scary I couldn't power it back on until i plugged the charger in. 2,3 km walk of shame though the woods with that tank is no fun at all.
@chrisc790Күн бұрын
@impact852 just don't ride low battery, it's coming soon.
@impact852Күн бұрын
@chrisc790 if it was just that easy.... That v1 BMS is able to shut the whole board down, not only when it's on low battery. That is the problem. If I have a guaranty that says, it can not happen when you Stay over, lets say 67volts, that would be ok. But that's sadly not the case. Don't get me wrong, its a fabulous machine and one stage lowered it rides really nicely. But please give us that new BMS asap ;) Happy floating

Could skip most of that and just remove the front bumper. I guess Tony has fat fingers or something. Thats what I do with my very similar fungineers setup.
@Eryktion2 күн бұрын
In the setup video for the adv1 Tony installed the motor without removing the rail. I also did it like that a few times, but honestly, I think, it's easier to just remove the rail. At least with the old motor connector it's very fiddly to plug it in with both rails attached.
