Weaknesses: Loses movement bonus in Snow. That's pretty much it.

Normal: None
Super: Meteor Strike
Does 8 damage to all units in a 5x5 diamond. All units +20% Offence, +30% Defence.

Yay, another video. This one sure did take a while. I thinks it's funny how the general strategy of this mission to target saturate, as in put a lot of units bunched into a relatively small area, so you can take all the cannons down quickly, but then the enemy commander's ability is meant to take advantage of people who try to target saturate. It's sort of evil on IS's part.

Sturm's name in Japanese was "Heru Bozu", which more-or-less comes out to "Hell Monk", making the adjustment that "bozu" doesn't have an exact translation in English. Then again you probably know this by now |D

Not exactly. It could also (and is more likely to be) the Japanese transliteration of "Herr Böse", German for "Mr Evil". Remember L and R are interchangable in Japanese, which makes determining loanwords hard. (E.g. "Reverse" and "Rebirth" are written the same way in Japanese, which is a source of a lot of mistranslations) Personaly I prefer this interpretation.

It's true! The Japanese "r" is extremely hard to translate without sufficient context, and as you've said here it could be read either way. (As a Kirby fan I suffer this a lot. Character names are usually in English via katakana to begin with but some names are really hard. Drawcia is one - it's written Doroshia in katakana, which could be translated as: Drawcia, Drawshia, or even, if you were being one-to-one, Dorothea. Thankfully we have context for her name, so it's pretty obvious it was intended as a pun on "draw".)

There are some Fire Emblem names even official sources can't agree on: Nabarl vs Navarre, Caeda vs Shiida. It's also likely Marth was supposed to be Mars, after the Roman god of war.

+SalThePiplup I believe the Advance Wars Wiki has it listed as "Hell-Bozo", but that might not be 100% accurate so who knows.

Yeah, it's hard to translate effectively. It's written in katakana so it's meant to be read in English, but since it can be translated in a number of different ways, it's hard to know which is the intended one. "Hell-Bozo" might not be right since if they wanted it to be Bozo, I think they could have just written that. The two most agreed-on translations seem to be "Hell Monk" and "Herr Boze". Take your pick |D
