Hi Victoria. I hope you are doing well too. I watched trailers of all the films you mentioned. I've just downloaded Emmanuel's Gift so I will definitely watch it. The next movie I will try to find is Zorba the Greek. I like the music from this movie and I have very enjoyable memories of holidays in Greece, so it will be nice to reminisce.
@AmericanAccentMastery4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Emil:) Let me know what you think of both movies! Zorba the Greek is a must!!
@emilsander45704 жыл бұрын
I will definitely let you know. However, I must honestly say that in recent years I have watched maybe one feature film a year on average. Therefore my knowledge of cinematography can be deduced. I promise to improve myself and watch at least two films in the first half of this year :)

I hope you like any movie I suggested, that’s a loootttt of pressure lol;)

My favorite movies are those you didn't suggested, but you directed and played a leading role in them. There is no second to be bored while watching, nice to look at, later remains a lot to think about and remember. I am curious myself how other film productions will fall out against this background.

I just watched a movie Emanuels Gift. As you said it's a beautiful one. I agree with everything you said about it. When I started watching I thought it was about 50 years ago. After some time did I realize that this was happening in the 21st century. The number of disabled people and the scale of poverty in Ghana is huge. Respect for your personal contribution to these changes for improvement.

That was entertaining, thank you. Although I must say that "My Fair Lady" is the best Audrey Hepburn film and rather uniquely oriented to your line of work 😃. Zorba the Greek has one of the most poignant yet uplifting endings I've ever see, very much recommended to anyone who has yet to see it.

I love Audrey Hepburn as well, not only as an actress , but also as a great person ♥️ She was beautiful outside and inside ! I hope you'll make more videos of this kind 👍 Have you seen the old French movie Jeux Interdits? It's one of my favorites - if you don't know Fellini's La strada, I also recommend it, together with Akira Kurosawa's masterpieces 💙 Victoria, I'm so sorry about what's happening in the Usa 😢

Hello my friend! I haven’t seen any of those movies- I just made a note of all of them, thanks so much for recommending! Indeed, she was an incredible person- that’s definitely a part of the draw to her, I think. I’m not currently in the US, but I am also just heartbroken about it on many levels.. :( very awful.. take care:)

You can't go wrong when you take your viewers and fans to the movies with you! A person reveals a bit about himself/herself when discussing favorite movies, as well as movie that he/she dislikes intensely. Don't forget TV shows and series--perhaps in a follow-on video. Also, I invite you to try out video games. They are quite different from movies, though.

Thanks for the ideas Gregory! I’m pretty out of the loop re: tv series and video games- though Super Mario Bros was one of the highlights of my childhood;)

My parents saw "Zorba The Greek" before I was born. They LOVED the movie! They bought the sound track (a vinyl record), and they played it all the time. I thus grew up with this music. I heard it many times, and while I was totally new to the world. As a result, the Zorba music sounds ethereal to me. When I finally saw the movie myself, I was blown away by the music when I heard it in the movie. I immediately recognized all of the tunes, but this time, they were associated with scenes from the movie. It will always be a great film. Be sure to see "The King of Hearts", if you can. It's a French movie, also starring Alan Bates (original title is "Le roi de coeur"). It's like a fairytale, and I *know* that you will

@@AmericanAccentMastery Don't forget that 1982 was an INCREDIBLE year for movies! You could see: Rocky III Tron The Thing Conan the Barbarian Rambo: First Blood Firefox (will make you into an avation enthusiast) and of course ET If you remember from Napoleon Dynamite (another must see, by the way!), the uncle wanted to return to 1982 in a time machine. When you think of all of the cool summer movies that were released in that fantastic year, it's not hard to see why.

So you like movies. 🤔Me too! Specially classic movies with good storyline. A while ago I was watching '' high way to heaven''😉 learned some English..but felt kinda sad after finishing the last episode. 🤭

Yes, a good story line is so important! I truly have a hard time following movies with a bad storyline, it is frustrating! I haven't heard of that one actually.. Worth adding to my list?

You can't say the first expression- it's not grammatical. So you'd say "Have you seen that movie?"

When you hold up a DVD box of a movie, your camera wants to continue to focus on you, rather than the movie box.
@AmericanAccentMastery4 жыл бұрын
Ugh, I know! I am really not a fan of this camera in terms of auto-focus.. it often has trouble focusing on my face as well if I've just held something up.. But, on the bright side, it doesn't have a record limit;)
