I love your enthusiasm and how you make sure your students understand why they are employing the techniques that you are teaching and that they are executing them correctly. Do you sell your shirts and rashguards online?

Okay question: After you get the double unders then transition to the hip grip and cross thigh grip, what would you do if instead of your opponent turning towards you, they turn away from you towards your legs to fall into side control top? I'm sure there would be a scramble that might allow you to at least take half guard, but I'm wondering if there's a better way to control your opponent?

I’m not seeing this working. So, your having bottom guy go somewhat perpendicular to top guy. But, what belt other than < 3 month white belt would stay center-line to Center-Line letting bottom player just recover guard to half-guard? Top player of ANY salt will simply crab walk across bottom player flattening the bottom player all day everyday. I’m gonna give it a try..a 100% try in class. With my hands posted like this and try to go into s-mount im gonna get swept. But, I’ll try it because there is a full closed guard variation of this that works great. What would stop top players from simply throwing his knees up to the armpits? Moreover, if you are the TOP player, WHY would you have legs crossed with the road completely open? Makes no sense bro??? NOBODY in BJJ would reverse grapevine themselves. Nobody in BJJ on top would post their hands out with bottom player hands free without head pressure on jaw.
