Many of you have asked me how I create those beautiful Stone Buddhas at my Heaven House, particularly after my Zen in the Garden earlier this year.
The simple answer: VERY, VERY carefully as you’ll see in this video.
Working with the Stone Buddhas is truly a dynamic thing to do. Stacking stones properly and safely demands many of the skills I describe in "How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!" and "The Last 4 Doctors You’ll Ever Need" ebook - both available from chekinstitute....
- Balance and coordination
- Agility
- Functional strength
- Deep presence and awareness
However, besides all of those physical skills, the Stone Buddhas encourage you to be in touch with your creative side and the child within too.

hey paul if you ever see this i love what you are doing and i have been practicing with smaller rocks but for some advice if you ever see this. i would when rolling the rocks up was use more of my legs because it looks like your throwing to much power into. your back which can cause problems so if i were you i would just use more power in your legs so you have less back issues in the future

Hello Paul Chek, I have a question about Scientific Shoulder training - Is there a difference if I order just the manual or the e-learning (videos+manual)? I am of mediocre fitness level knowledge. Not a good situation with money, but also I need to heal my damaged left shoulder, that's not getting as better as I thought (not functional) 7-8 months after trauma. So would the scientific shoulder manual be enough or do you recommend the video series + manual for someone with existing rauma? Thank you
@PaulChekLive
@PaulChekLive 4 жыл бұрын
HI, Without a lot of background in manual therapy and corrective exercise, the manual alone will be very limiting to your ability to understand and execute the assessments and corrective exercises, as well as the more advanced conditioning exercises offered. There is a LOT of information in the videos that naturally, won't be in the manual or it would be a thousand pages long.... I'm confident that you'll find it well worth the investment to get the full program, which is how it is designed to be studied. An investment "in yourself" is not an "expense", and what you learn becomes a gift to all others you can help :-) The Black Friday sale is still on today, and I believe through tomorrow, Monday, so you could save quite a bit to purchase the program during the sale! Love and chi, Paul Chek

@PaulChekLive
@PaulChekLive 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, If there are little kids around, I'll take them down unless they are stable enough that its safe, such as short stacks with heavy stones. My recommendation is to work with small enough stones that its safe at your level of skill, and if you are worried about them falling and hurting a living being, then take them down; the joy is in the creation and having no attachment to the creation. You can also make patterns with stones on the ground, which is rewarding too. Love and chi, Paul Chek

@PaulChekLive
@PaulChekLive 4 жыл бұрын
It can be many things; see my videos on The Chek Totem Pole to get a better understanding of control systems. A simple approach is to A. Remove any foods from your diet that may be adding inflammation to your body, B. Stretch your wrist flexors and extensors regularly throughout the day. C. Do the 20 stretch tests in my book "How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!" and develop a specific stretching program based on your test results. D. Locate my video here on releasing the abdominal wall with a foam roller to help balance your structure. E. Try getting some athletic tape, and taping your forearms just below the bones of the elbow; firm, but not so tight it cuts off blood flow; do this until the pain is gone for several days, then just start putting the tape on a little looser and when you sense that you don't need the support any longer, stop taping and keep your body in balance. F. Be sure you are not over-training with movements that use those muscles and tendons or you'll never heal. Love and chi, Paul Chek

@PaulChekLive

HI, as the rocks fall from time to time, they start breaking to pieces so I have to go into the brush now and then and collect more; its quite a workout to get them up to my circle because I've got steep grades all around me where I have to get the stones. The big one you see me flipping is probably close to 400 pounds, and it took me about an hour just to get it from the hillside it was on to my stone circle....and NO, I don't need the gym after that! The kind of stone work I'm sharing in this video is Total Body training, and mental-emotional training as well! Love and chi, Paul Chek

I'm awed I don't see a lot of upside in this activity and a lot of potential downside though i also don't think this is an activity that The Buddha would advocate
@PaulChekLive
@PaulChekLive 4 жыл бұрын
Hello, The upside(s) to this activity are many: 1. Being outdoors in nature, 2. Expressing one's creativity, 3. Getting a level and complexity of exercise that can't be gained in a gym, 4. Being in active meditation, 5. Letting one's soul guide them in an environment where there is no attachment to the outcome; this helps one detach from the ego's need to control and try to create contrived safety based on prior programming and fear based thinking, 6. It is an art-form. 7 The chance to connect deeply to the stones; silence speaks when we learn to listen. 8. Learning how to work with gravity effectively, 9 Enhanced balance and coordination as well as strength and agility. 10. Learning to find the edges of your abilities and grow! I suspect the Buddha would approve of any activity that "awakens one" since the word Buddha means awakened, one who Loves, and one who is united with The SELF (Kosmos or Whole). Yes....it is very dangerous, thus the warnings at the beginning and end of the video! That said, it is also dangerous to stay in relationships when you don't want to be there; to have unhealthy relationships with drugs, alcohol, food, sex, money, food....etc... My work is for my level of development, and I share this video as a means of showing people how I do my own conditioning and a form of dynamic meditation that I use regularly to keep me focused, centered, alert, and "alive". Start at the level that you feel comfortable at, and watch what happens within you! Love and chi, Paul Chek

Paul, I find that with me having a goal and all that when I use my intuition to figure out what to do next I am sure of what I’m going to do because I feel a strong magnetic pull to it. Is that a sign of strong intuition?

Hi, Yes, and it can also be your soul guiding you :-) Stay in that space of deep listening and you will be guided. The secret is discerning when the ego is impersonating the soul because its afraid it won't get what it wants vs. what your soul is guiding you toward for meeting your authentic needs and fulfilling soul contracts with those in your life. I teach soul connection and other useful methods of going deeper into your inner-guidance systems in my online course titled "Primal Pattern Eating", which is loaded with great practical information on how to eat for your individual needs as well :-) Love and chi, Paul Chek

I'm specifically referring to the fact that if a stack that big falls on you, and you live, the pain you are likely to go through will be like being in hell. Believe me, I know! Love and chi, Paul Chek
