This'll be handy to know for my planned large SV, though there's 2 things I disagree with here. First of all you neglect the bottom, giving it way less detail than the rest of the ship. This results in a flat bottom with just some detailing slapped onto it. Second of all is the way you did the thrust. I personally like having equal thrust in each direction, and aim for 20m/s+ for that. This way the ship will be easy to handle. I just place a ball of thrusters loose from the ship until there is enough, then spread those across the vessel.

Thanks for your input! :) yeah I got lazy at the bottom. You're right - I'll do an overhaul and add more detail. I'll also improve thrust a little bit, especially sideways.

sadly this item is no longer available in the steam workshop. I would LOVE to see it return, as it is one of the best SV's I've ever seen. Great work, ma dude!

Already subscribed, but i seem to have forgot upvoting. And just ignore the down-voting people, they are just people trying to bring other's work down. They are just jealous because they cant build something that good :-)

@@duro3666 thanks :) yeah you're right. The problem is 1 downvote roughly makes up for 10+ upvotes. And thus the ship sunk into the depths of the workshop and lost all attention. Sad to see so much work just disappear ... and it really makes me think if my time isn't invested better somewhere else. I might build something in this scope again but not anytime soon. I'd rather build assets the devs need for the game maybe.

That was awesome but it takes too much time to build , cut , rebuild and in the meantime i get frustrated so i end up using prefab ships that have the potential of getting slightly modified at least , for example most of the time the shield is missing ... or there is no warp drive . In a game i used to play "Planet explorers" you could just change the size of pretty much anything and still have it's full effect , like capacity et chetera . It would be awesome to have such a convenience here as well but i guess nothing and no one is perfect . Your build looks wonderful by the way !

Thanks :) Yes, it takes a lot of time. And now it takes even more with the introduction of new mechanics etc... I think Empyrion gets a little too cluttered with features lately - it needs to grow into a real game. Let's see if the devs manage to pull it off.

I'm trying to build a Winnebago inspired by Spaceballs. I'm having a really hard time with radiation and heat inside the vessel. I've moved all generators and thrusters away from the main enclosure but still get hotspots inside It's infuriating!!! Does anyone have any tips on avoiding radiation and heat in an enclosed open cockpit SV? I also tried to make a VW bus SV but had the same issues.
