I'm sure there are marine mechanics and marinas that are dependable, neat, thorough and honest. However, in the 50 years that I have owned boats, I have never found one.

Went up the mast twice on my friends 30’ monohull. It’s quite the workout keeping from swinging around. Seems the maintenance is going well. Back on the water to enjoy again. Donate for a Dream

When are you going to cross an ocean?
@adventurecrews4 күн бұрын
You know when we bought our boat we thought we would have been 1/2 around the world by now... All that said, I am not sure a crossing is on our radar right now there is so much we have yet to do and see on this side and once you go...it's hard to come back. At least the way we would want to go....

I miss Ambergris Caye Belize and the Me Too Catamaran back when I was young and unmarried. My dad flew medical in and out of the jungles for Wings of Hope. I had dual citizenship so I got a job working the afternoon and sunset cruises to snorkel Ho Chan Reef. Love y'all's channel here on KZbin been watching since you all where with Jiggin with Jordan. I hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas!!

Wow your Clark style watermaker made it to 2500 hours. I have a homemade system similar to a Seawater Pro now, and have had no need for rebuild events...if I ever needed a new pump they are $200-$350. The downside is the power usage, but solar pretty much still makes up the difference quickly. If I need to run the genset for a bit to make water, no problem. The fuel and maintenance costs are less than the rebuild cost of the Clark style pumps in my opinion. You also had a boost pump failure a season or two ago, didn't you? Not that they don't just go out every once in a while anyway. Loved the video by the way.

Glad you guys are back on the boat! Look forward to the videos. Hey can you tell me which marina you were hauled out in? We hauled in Clarke's Court in July, just after the hurricane, and I wanted to compare some of the costs we had if you guys wouldn't mind. P.S. - I'm from Fort Myers, almost local to you guys :)

I didn’t see a prussik for safety and I hope that you didn’t just trust three wraps on the winch to lift and hold her up there! Risky, risky. It would be good to show people that you are doing things like going up the mast in a safe way so others don’t just imitate and take risks they don’t need to!
