Aww so cozy, and Fig is such a gentle sweety pie! That heat though gosh! I'd melt! Thanks for sharing your musical journey with us.

Sight HoundLady thank you! Fig is such a sweetie and everyday he opens up a little more. It’s hot down here, no doubt about it. -.-

Your place is so cute and cozy and interesting...It’s definitely you! The only things in my house I bought new are my mattress and my parrot’s cage. Most of what I have is from beach houses, my ex was in construction and worked on the coast. He mostly did remodeling, and in the process of redoing their homes, his clients were always getting rid of their old furniture and other things, so every day he’d come home with something new. My favorite piece is my coffee table, which was made out of the hatch cover of a Liberty ship. The rest is thrifted, trash picked, or family stuff, my grandfather traveled a lot and brought things back from all over the world. I would love to get a new sofa...but I have two cats now who both have their claws intact, and I know they would just destroy it. I love greyhounds. So happy that Fig is retired and living a good dog’s life now.

Another wonderful video, thank you for sharing. I'm watching them very much out of order. Fig is a brindle looking so much like my granddog Jefferson. My boy is fawn/tan just turned 6 but...he didn't like racing so has been with me about 4 years. They are total sweethearts. I love your cello & enjoyed the tour. My fav is with your dolls out.

after stumbling into your channel through your ohana ukulele review, and watching a few of your videos: i'm thoroughly impressed. your writing tips were insightful, and i agree with surrounding yourself in an inspiring environment. i live in a schoolbus with the solar, the instruments, my sewing machine, and herzog the dog. you mention your patch collection... i make custom patches. think of any idea, describe it in a five words or less sentence, and i will draw it with my sewing machine.

pnosa hello!!! I’m so excited to read your comment. For a while now, quietly, I’ve been planning to move into a trailer (or van) this next April and travel around for a year or so. To hear that you’re living in a schoolbus is so inspiring! For how long and are you moving around mostly or staying in one spot more of the time?

Idea: Leap of faith, falling before your wings grow in, hoping they’ll be there just in time before you hit bottom

AdventureDenali since 2006 i've been doing these annual sewing tours: making custom patches around the country with my solar & bike powered sewing rover. i've only taken my schoolbus on the road once (i also have a van), but with new tires & infinity windows the next trip will be in the bus. i'll sew your "leap of faith" patch today.

AdventureDenali wondering if you saw your 'leap of faith'? you're tagged in the photo on instagram. the patch is yours if you like.

I’m 59 years old and I’ve only been playing the cello for 8 months and I’ve only progressed to Suzuki book 2 the Witches Theme and Essential Elements. I think I’m getting frustrated with backwards and forward extensions. Sometimes I just want to give up! Love your videos keep up the go work!!

Hey, Alicia. Would you post a video on your videoshooting equipment? (your work is insightful regarding the experience and progress of learning an instrument, or really anything, as an adult)

Your inspiring because you still have such a love for learning. A lot of people think once you hit a certain age you can't learn anything new and I try and tell them that that is crazy lol. Love your style also! I love seeing someone who does things differently and doesn't have the same furniture and kitchenware and we'll you get the point. Thank you for being yourself in a world full of people who aren't that way, who almost seem afraid to be themselves and have their own style.. It's very refreshing!
