plz let me know the difference between a stative and a Linking verb as He looks tired look is both a stative and a linking then how will we differentiate?
@EnglishWithAshish
@EnglishWithAshish 3 жыл бұрын
A linking verb links a subject to its complement (noun or adjective) whereas a stative verb shows the state of the subject. It is not necessary followed by its complement. But yes, some stative verbs function as linking verbs too. I'll make a lesson on it soon, Sadaf! That will help you guys better.
