I want to add something regarding noun clause.. When group of words can be replaced by single noun,and gives us same meaning..that is noun clause For example... i know who are you Now replace "who are you" with sinlge noun.."Ali" So it be like "I know Ali" So "who are you" is noun clause and does the function of noun.
@EnglishWithAshish3 жыл бұрын
Can be looked at this way. It's more than that. Watch my lesson on noun clauses. You'd have a better understanding of the topic.

When you say no subject-verb combination, you mean a phrase cannot have neither a subject or a verb or both ? Because a phrase cannot have a verb, hence no subject. I'm I right ?

It doesn't the subject-verb combination. That's what important to note.
