Hi, I was wondering if I could ask you for some advice on a split toenail or would you have to be a foot doctor in that area?
@madduchess4 жыл бұрын
I used to work in the nhs in UK as a pharmacy dispenser I too share your passion for medicine! I can't wait till my health improves so I can go back to work!

I'm almost in the 5th year and I've been watching your videos since 1th. Thank you for the gold tips. Something that Ive been learning is "it's okay to be wrong sometimes, just continue forward" - and not just about knowledge from books, but also about the relationship with others. Wish the best for you, your family and career

Hi Jenny, can you make a video with your husband on his advice to spouses of students in medical school and residency, especially how to balance work life around having kids in medical school and supporting partners who are in medicine? Thanks so much.

This is gr8! I'm fowarding this to my cousin who just started her residency!
@drjennale4 жыл бұрын
Congrats to your cousin!! Residency is so much better than med school! I’m sure I’ll say being an attending is going to be a billion times better than being a resident 😂

@@drjennale haha apparently it is (based off the other many family members who have their own practice) 🤷♀️

When using ziplocks, flip the lip of the bag over about an inch so you don’t get drippings and junk on the zip part. Just a tip I learned.
@drjennale4 жыл бұрын
I’ve also turned the ziplock inside out the grab the meat so I don’t have to wash extra tongs!

Hi Jenny! sorry if this Q is redundant, but what studying tool were you using in the beg of the video to practice board questions? Thank you! Im applying into FM for this years match!
@drjennale4 жыл бұрын
Yay!! FM ❤️ I was using truelearn - ComBank question

Hi Jenny! Thanks for the informative vlogs. I recently started FM residency and was wondering which resources you are utilizing for the ABFM exam? Thanks
@drjennale4 жыл бұрын
Congratulations! I use ComBank for test questions. Also try asking your residency if they have previous inservice exams saved anywhere? Basically ABFM half practice test you’re required to do every year.

FM Intern on just day 4 of night float over here! I feel like nights have been relatively quiet so I should be studying but I just am so tired or I don’t know what to study or what resource to use (online med Ed again to review topics or cases?) Any advice or suggestions? I’m also overwhelmed thinking about everything coming in the future and surviving these long shifts and hardly any days off! Also 6 mo preg 1st time mom to be for twins so I’m all in my head freaking out about all of it!! Any suggestions or advice Jenny?
@drjennale4 жыл бұрын
First off, you are doing amazing! Studying in residency is a lot different than studying in medical school because you are actually practicing medicine. Learn from your patients. Do practice questions when you can. I still read UpToDate. As for the long hours - look at your schedule in advance and advocate for yourself.

Is there any reliable app for medical questionnaires that you would like to share?
@drjennale4 жыл бұрын
I’ve only heard of one you pay for. The two people tend to use is ComBank and UWorld. (MKSAP for internal medicine boards). I would just pick one though and stick with it.
