To be honest I didn’t read a lot of text books in my biotech undergrad unless I needed to check something. That was a mistake and something I wish I could have invested more time in. So I do not precisely have an answer to this. However, I personally really like the Molecular biology of the cell. It has most of the biotech related topics ( broad range) except plant biotech stuff maybe and bioinformatics www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK21475/

Do you think Biotech is similar to Clinical Pathology?

Hey! I am not sure as I have no idea what clinical pathology is. After a quick google search though..it seems that the two are different. I think clinical pathology is somewhat specified where as Biotech is broad. One can study marine biotech or plant biotech within the biotech field for instance. I am not sure if that applies to clinical pathology.
