Building that thick skin, but also knowing that what happens outside of us is not as serious as we allow it to be and feel. Always remember that! keep pushing forward! Thank you for watching :D

I hope you know you’re a huge inspiration to me. I always felt like it would be weird to work in a barber shop but men’s cuts speak to me. It just feels so natural to do them. Thank you. Keep being you and being a positive light.

I am so happy I found your channel. Your honest. I am 60years old just started to work in the barbershop. I did not know that tapered and fade is totally different from one another. When I google the meaning of it says short to long. So I feel I am learning all over again. I am a cosmetologist. The manager of this barbershop is very critical. He even cut my haircut all over again . He insist 90 degree haircut. Cross check the haircut. Even the haircut is good and client like it he still have to do it over again. A little touch here and there. Thanks for sharing your experience. Appreciate it very much.

it's never too late !! Keep going! google def doesn't sort out the actual details of what I had to learn while being in the field and depending who you talk to, people change the names around often. I'll have to do an update video on this topic

Hi Jean! I dont think he ever meant it as a bad thing, but it was looking awkward from his place and I know that feeling if I’m getting my hair done and the person hardly talks to me...the time just stretches longer. I’m naturally an introvert, but through the business and learning all these years, I’ve realized communication and speaking allows us to really get out of the box and get more opportunities. For ex, i have a friend, super talented...overly qualified for what he does and he lost his sponsorship to another person who wasn’t as good, but can speak well. It kinda reminded me that learning how to talk to people in our field is def important and it really can take you places! All i know is..if i can break out of something that handicapped for most of my life, i know others can do it too & yes being transparent with my entire journey is the way I feel i can best serve people who come across my stories. Thank you for watching and sharing with me ! ❤️
@Jpmendez7184 жыл бұрын
@@Staygold31 well my next step is to make my work public, when i do hopfully i get a view from you, about being a public speak like you seems hundredz of miles away but stay sober i hope will speed my way there. I agree with you tho, having a good time while cutting hair does make time fly. Also i want to add, Babyliss fx pro trimmers are by far the most powerful and far advanced trimmer i own/ out there. Thanks for the ❤

Quick question Sofie. My X2 Volare got hella loud. So I retired it a few months ago. but I wanna start using it again. Is there anything I can do ? I don’t like my clippers being loud in my clients ears. I’ve always kept them up and oiled and clean. I take care of my stuff but I’m just wondering if there’s new clips or something. I’m happy with my gold foil shaver. Any advice will help. Happy New Years!!! VicHairicome
@Staygold315 жыл бұрын
It definitely shouldn't be loud. Have you called the company to see if you can get it replaced?? its a great tool to have and i love mine. I havent ran into much problems with it yet, but i would definitely ask them. Or...are they loud when you put guards on it? Foil shaver is fireeee

Thanks so much! Since you are still in the early stages, don't think about that yet. Get your hours in first and focus on that. Don't rely on validation just yet. You want to learn how to analyze your own work too. Keep building on those skill sets!
