This looks like an informative video. If you have this particular machine, with the same issue, it correctly demonstrates ways to replace devices that are broken.. The detractors from this video are few, but worth noting from a production standpoint. As video is progressing, the device being worked on is often NOT in center screen. While removing the control chip, the power cord for the heat gun is center screen and blocks view of the process. Last I will note was the graphic text overlay to "Reassemble Control Unit" showed poor spelling. This was in all caps as "REASSEMBLY CONTROL UNIT" Overall this is a good video and earns my being the 4th person to like this video. I look forward to finding useful instructions for devices I work with. @}-- Sister Ida

Please note that the 100 ohm resistor is (at least in most similar boards) no ordinary resistor. Instead, it is a resistor-fuse, that is designed to fail without catching fire in case of a short circuit downstream, like when the LNK chip has failed.

That's right. It is a 100 ohm 3W resistor
