@I record with a phone I just remember my friends & I saying he definitely wasn't dead because of the whole transferral of consciousness + the fact the brain remains conscious for 30 seconds after decapitation. We didn't expect them to enter the Paths immediately and start the rumbling. But in hindsight it was pretty obvious his head would land in Zekes hand

@@irecordwithaphone1856 I started to read AoT midway through the Female Titan Arc and I remember sooo many theories throughout the years. It turns out that the production of 'Two Brothers' was a bit rushed and as a result there were numerous inconsistencies in the artwork (the biggest example being Erens pants unscathed while running to Zeke, when we knew they got chomped by Porco). So when Eren got his head blown off, people (including me) didnt believe it and used those inconsistencies to make a wild theory that he had already activated the Founding Titan and was manipulating the memories of all Eldians present to fake his death for some reason. Looking back, that idea was crazy but the "evidence" was there. Plus the only two people who saw him get shot, Zeke and Gabi, are Eldians and could have had their memories altered :)

I really like how Galliard is wearing is undercover Scouts uniform. His comments before death calls back to season 1 episodes 1 and 9, where dying scouts and grieving family members are concerned above all by whether or not their death had meaning and if it helped humanity. Just like those Scouts, Galliard knew his time was up but wanted his death to mean something. Great job, warrior, you saved Falco and Reiner!

One of my favorite things is Eren not catching Zeke's ball and then saying "oops". Zeke: "Let's play catch since touching hands will rumble the world" throws ball Eren misses the ball: "Oops". It was literally him not shaking Zeke's hand meaning he was never on board. But this also showed Zeke that he doesn't agree with the euthanasia plan.

When it was confirmed that he wasn't on board with the euthanasia plan, I seriously cheered, because it was the first time in this entire season where Eren sounded like the Eren we knew before. I was excited! Until I remembered what the alternative to that plan likely was. No spoilers, since I don't know if Eren's plan works or not yet.

Zeke is very intelligent. The moment Eren didn't catch the baseball, he knew something was up. Because that symbolized them being on the same page. And so, Zeke wanted to believe Eren was on the same page as him, but in the back of his mind, he had doubts. And I like that he didn't have blind faith in Eren but approached the situation cautiously. He loves his brother so much that he's not even mad that he betrayed him. He still wants to help him out. Jaw Titans love sacrificing themselves for Reiner. Zeke with the catch of the year. R.I.P. Colt and Porco. You were both amazing brothers. Porco got to go out on his own terms. And he got to take one last dig at Reiner. Luckier than most characters in this show Also, fun fact, some of the snippets of images before Eren got into the paths were actually cameos from volume extras in the manga. AKA GothKasa and Nerd Armin. Along with one image being the AOT men in a sauna. So that's nice.

Yes Ymir was in the paths, do I really understand it? No. But I'm guessing she had to have her body rebuilt like Zeke after spending so much time idle, and royal blood/founding titan isn't required for that.

I believe this as well for the explanation. I think after eating Marcel she desperately needed to heal due to time. The insides of the Titan is very hot and Shifters always come out with scorched cheeks and neck pull marks. Ymir was in a Titan for 80 years so her body had to be super degraded by the time she was detransformed. Eren was in a full rage when he first transformed in episode 7 and was passed out before he popped out the neck. So he was probably there too to get the arm and leg back but was unconscious and never saw it.

Quick explanation for somethings that everyone miss at first watch: Zeke isn't affected by the Vow Renouncing War because the Vow get passed only to Royal Blooded titan shifters that inherit the Founding Titan, and Zeke reached the path not by having the Founding Titan, but by touching someone of no Royal Blood who hold the Founding Titan. And Zeke, in the time he waited for Eren to heal in the path, removed the vow completely. So now all Royal Blooded Founding Titan can use the Founder powers completely. To everyone who read the manga; I know there's more to this than what I explained but at this point of the story these were the rules of the show, before they get changed later by you know who.

The scene with galiard and how he was able to see his memories is Bc reiner was touching eren at the time he touched galiard. Since eren is the founder I am assuming why that happened and porco was able to see that snapshot of his brother

17:50 if you watch the scene where Zeke describes being rebuilt you can see that it is the same sky, so yes, seeing the paths is not exclusive to the royal people, it's just that you are not going to be able to do much if you are not royal if you have to ask why, aside from isayama being a tease, she probably spent so much time as a regular titan that she needed to be rebuilt but idk

You saw Ymir in a similar place to Ymir immediately after she regained her humanity, so presumably she did see the paths for a bit. Yeah, this title was great. The next one is too. So far we've seen that certain Titans have some sort of ideology they tend to follow. The founder follows the first king's vow of peace, the attack always seeks freedom, and the jaw sacrifices itself to save Reiner.

I’m ngl this episode was way too quickly paced. It should have been two episodes. The transformation of Flacco (no offense to the ravens qb) was underwhelming compared to the manga. I think it should have ended at Gabi beheading Eren (no offense to King Louis XIV). Then you can start the next episode going a little more slowly through that Zeke dialogue etc
