Aero Precision M5 6.5 CM Shooting

I built my AR10 very similar but in .308 and all black. All Aero receiver and BCG, Luth AR stock and Ergo grip. I used the Hyperfire Eclipse trigger for the single stage 2lb pull and adjustable finger pad. My barrel is a BSF Carbon Fibber wrapped 20" with Silencerco brake and Apex 15" gator grip handguard. (only rail I needed on the handguard was a 2" on the bottom for the bipod) With a Vortex 6-24x50 scope it shoots quarter size groups all day. Been VERY impressed with Aero Precision.

Good shooting quick question what weight buffer are you running. Also how many rounds do you have through the rifle. I’m having cycling issues with mine but it only has 30 rounds through it

@Johnathen Stommel: At the time of the vid, only about 100rds. If your rifle is having cycling issues, you may need to buy a superlative arms adj gas block. That will most likely solve your issue with one replacement part. My buffer is standard rifle length 5.4oz, with JP polished buffer spring. BCG is also JP LMOS. Hope this helps my friend. @@TheGunShieldTV yeah I have the superlative arms gas block. But my barrel is cut like a ArmaLite barrel. So I’m thinking it’s my gas tube length. Because my buffer system it the same as yours. Spring buffer weight are the same I have a Aero bolt carrier but the bolt in the carrier is JP to match the barrel. But I appreciate the help and suggestions keep up the good shooting my friend.

@Johnathen Stommel: Ok. In your case, I'd switch the spring to a flat buffer spring, brother. Your carrier is most likely too heavy for the spring. Switching to the Tubbs is your best bet. The gas tube length is standard/dependent on the barrel itself. So, if its "rifle" length etc, keep what you have. Most likely cause in your case will be the spring because of the buffer system cycling too fast/slow. Keep me posted & I'll be sure to help any way that I can!💪🏾😎
