It is very out of place. During the Chasm where you enter the nightmare door. The Traveler's biggest fear is.. "The Abyss" because they "took the sibling" away. Did they forget about the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles? The one who got us into this mess?

Both siblings might be aware of what they were doing when going into unknown territory (otherwise they could have AVOIDED it). When the traveler awakened, they were confused why they aren’t going on the same path like they used to (probably in other worlds where there are also other heavenly principles governing their own world) as they always stick together like before. Abyss siblings has something connected to this world whereas us traveler just wants to get out of this world (in my opinion).

@@jevs1555 Stuff actually happens though: -You learn about the 5 sinners of Kha'enriah, 3 of them being familiar names and thus connecting them all under the same banner -The sinners of Kha'enriah, and by extension the Abyss Order, have world-shattering power and will soon plan to betray Teyvat itself -You learn the reason behind why Dainsleif is against the Abyss Order and the Abyss Twin -The loom of fate is completed, and Caribert reveals to you what it's capable of, setting it up for future stories. -You finally learn what happened to Caribert after witnessing your sibling's memory, and watch his last moment before dissipating in peace -Caribert smuggles a photo of their reunion into existance, against all reason, encouraging them to reconcile.

The Lumine we see here probably has reincarnated. 🤔

I keep thinking why they are sibling, not lover. Well this archon quest tell their relationship very well. Yes irl siblings always bicker with each other, so different with how Lumine and Aether looks like. But from this archon quest we can see the invisible blood bonding those two as siblings. Yes they have their own dreams, lives, and friends, yet, they are always there for each other. Always thinking about each other and still feel like in home when meeting each other Anw this wuest is so dope. Hoyo is tsking this too far with the Caribert's death and siblings reunion 😭😭😭

Yes they're sibling relationship is not like usual..not incestuous but still more lovey dovey then usual siblings..and they are also each other's best friend...they confide in to each other everything and even though paimon is great..traveller does not put all of their heart and emotions onto her like he used to with her twin...

Although quite interesting and intriguing i feel like that it wasnt close to being "enough". Leaks stated dainsleif so i thought damn this is going to be huge but... eh. Like at face value what you get is next to no story progression, fight with what 7 mushrooms and 4 hilichurls and a black screen instead of what could have been an epic cutscene.
