If Garruk is still out there and not dead/a phyrexian, he could be the key Rowan comeback to the righteous path, having himself experienced descent into madness in the past

They were sent on a quest by the Questing Beast together, I think only together can they be the true "king" of Eldraine. So who knows, maybe next set on the plane will be a proper succession war resulting in them making up. Could have had tieing up of the storyline now if we still were getting blocks, but nope. We're in the ADHD never stitting still era of magic.

Man, the thing I didn't expect from the story of our return to Eldraine is the plot of The Matrix. People forced to live in a dream world to hide from the horrible truth.

A comprehensive video. Revisiting the story of current characters is what we need. Hope in the future the twins can mend their connection, they work as a team so i think they could rule together (a bit unorthodox maybe, but a quest from the questing beast could solve it) Thanks for the video

Didn’t the start of the Strixhaven story line open up with explaining that Garruk had found the twins and helped them learn and understand their planeswalker abilities before heading off, then kasmina finds them?

I'm loving this story! Will and Rowan would make amazing long-term characters in the multi-verse. I really hope their story can continue throughout the upcoming sets. One thing I'm very curious about is the "secret of planeswalking". In years past, "normal folk" never knew the existence of other planes except for a select few and planeswalkers never spoke about their ability to nonwalkers. I always understood planeswalking to be a guarded secret amongst those whose sparks ignited. Was there a particular event that gave away the knowledge of the existence of the multiverse? Or was it a series of events such as Nicol Bolas trying to become a god on Amonkhet and Tibalt opening the paths within the World Tree ?

I was really hoping that there would be consequences to Will falsely claiming the title of High King without doing the quest. Early in the story I was hoping Rowan would undertake the quest, find balance, and end up properly on the throne - but they shut that door on her quick. She might be able to get a redemption arc, maybe, but I think having her go so far as to end up the rightful ruler would end up feeling forced and unearned after how far she fell. Still I hope we do get to see a proper High King returned to the throne some day.

Yeah. I also thought she was going to receive the quest after storming off and then be forced to team up with Will to overcome the quests finally mending their bond

Will stared out in the distance. Rowan was gone,fleeing into the wilds. One of the knights spoke. "My lord,what are we to do next?" Imodane eyed will carefully. Turning around,will looked heartbroken. Somber. "Once the realms have stablized enough,i will attempt the high kings quest. However while we are doing this,we are to keep an eye out for ashiok. The next time we find him,i will repay what he has done to eldraine 10 fold." "And the girl?" "...leave her be. If she does not threaten us,we will not do so as well. If she does...then i will deal with her myself." The words tasted like poison in wills mouth saying it. He only fought to defend. Could he really do it? The knights nodded and imodane eyed will. "You know shes going to come back. Maybe not right now but eventually." "I know. And i hope she stops herself before she does something shes going to truely regret." "All i see is a lust for power in her eyes." "Perhaps. But i felt it. I felt her soul and mind creak and bend under what shes doing. If she snaps..." Will trails off. Imodane nods. "As much as i hate you and your sister both, unfortunately you are probably the best one suited for this mess. What shall we do next?" "We need to continue with rebuilding. ...but there is something i must do. I will rejoin you at the castle shortly." Once imodane was gone,will ventured into the wilds. Searching for rowan is a fools errand now. But there is another will seeks. Sitting at a campfire was garruk. He had been laying low ever since this mess started. Then he saw him. Will. "Well,didn't expect you high king." "Just will is fine garruk,please." Garruk nodded. "I heard about what rowan was up to. Im sorry." "It was not your fault. ...but thank you for your condolences. But im not here about rowan. Ill find her when she wants to be found. Im hunting someone else. And i need your expertise." Garruk eyed will surprised,but nodded weary. "Hm. Who are you after?" "Ashiok,the nightmare mage. It is responsible for nearly all of this. And im going to kill him." Wills voice burned with a newfound rage and drive. Garruk got up." "If your serious about hunting ashiok then you need more then magic to help you,seeing as you barely survived what happened. But i might know someone who would be willing to help you on that field." "Will you at least help me find ashiok?" "Ill keep a eye out. As for that help i mentioned,theres a omenpath a few miles north from here,im not sure why but the wilds magic is somehow stablizing it almost. It should get you from here,to zhalfir and back to eldraine if you need to head home." Will nodded. "I will explore the path when i am free. Thank you." "Its the least i can do given you 2 saved me from the chain veils curse." Will nodded and left. Heading back into the realms,he heard a voice whisper into his head. Rowans. "Im sorry..." Turning around,there was nothing. Staring back at the wilds,will nodded somberly. "Im sorry too Ro. ...i only wish i could have done something sooner." To be continued.

I find it weird that they chose an anime theme for the Middle Ages European set. Doesn’t seem like it would fit and, to me, it just feels out of place.
