this is great, if I ever get to have the privilege of owning my own house, I will certainly look into building myself some homewalls!

Thanks! I just moved into a rental actually. My future gym videos will include how to build an indoor gym with minimal impact on the property-aimed at renters like yourself. Sub if you’re interested in seeing it when it drops.

What a great video!! I would like to ask your recommendation of a small set for just my feet on either side of an outdoor pull up station. I can't quite reach the bar and I would like to install 3-4 for getting me up there without a stool!

Hello! Thanks for the kind comment! For what you’d like to do, I highly recommend the Rocky Mountain Climbing holds from the video (the ones made from recycled concrete). They’re only about $2 per hold, can be purchased individually I believe (so you don’t need to buy like 20 when you just need 4) and they’re big enough to use with tennis shoes on (Instead of climbing shoes). Also, they sell them in bolt and screw on style, so unless you already have t-nuts installed on your pull up wall, the screw on ones can be installed super easy. Happy climbing! (And pull upping!)

I would recommend LEDGE climbing they have some holds for about 4$ each and they have free shipping in the US for orders over 99$

It hurts to watch some holds get tossed aside and labeled as "foot jibs" or "terrible for hands", when they were actually some of the best crimps/mini pinches showcased on your lineup. I think if you make a video about climbing holds, the two major demographics you'd land on are: competent climbers who are motivated enough to build an off-season woody, or parents building jugfests for their children. I blame myself for not reading the channel name before watching.

Hey I appreciate the feedback. I’m an average climber myself. And my home walls have all had at least 10 degrees of reverse incline or more, so unless they’re quite positive jibs, I can’t hold them. If I had straight up walls I bet they’d be better for me. Expert climbers will like jibs I bet. To each they’re own. Thanks!

Very cool! It’s quite fun! We recently moved and started building our new wall last night. My kids are ecstatic and having fun helping. I’ll post videos on it soon!
