Afghans in India want asylum claims fast-tracked

Thousands of Afghans who have been living in India for years want their asylum claims fast-tracked. But their numbers are likely to grow, because the Indian government is launching a new category of visas for people fleeing the Taliban.

Illeterate brother. Qatar didn't take part in Afghanistan. It were India and NATO. The Indian trained Afghan National Army surrendered within 11 days. There wasn't a single Indian soldier on Afghan soil except some guarding embassy not a single soldier of ours participated in war on afghan soil we mostly did infrastructure assistance like Schools, libraries, bridges ,roads, dams and parliament house so we aren't responsible for current situation of afghanis so unlike US,nato and pakistan(who created Taliban) we have no obligation to any Afghani we gave them resources and they failed to utilise it properly but still we accepted minorities immigrants because they're more prone to danger so everyone commenting against our role on Afghanistan soil should keep this in mind.

For some folks who don't understand news, they are protesting outside UNHCR. Their protest is for UN to listen, they are obviously grateful to India for accepting them as refugees. Try to understand the news instead of reading the title and spreading hatred.

How many Afgan are there, probably some thousand. This is nothing compared to refugie accepted by Pakistan and Iran. India has no love for Afgan people. Rather they are playing witjh Afgan simpathy. This is indian style. Without interest India never step a single feet. The benifit what they will get from international community is far beyond imagiation. We will see it soon.
