Great video! I am looking forward to hearing that 285 run. You always tune them so perfectly 👍

Don’t you just love how some people treat their saws? Mine, you can eat off. I clean and sharpen them after each use. On another point, my Farmertec MS 660 that I built with your help in OCT 2018 is still running fine. All my Farmertec saws are running fine and they are all over five years old.

Hey Walt, I've been using bar oil I ordered from Traverse creek, I think it's called "Cut-It". Seems to work decent and it's not too expensive.

You need to see some of the saws coming out of the west coast of BC if that 285 is the most beat up you have seen. Some of the 394s and 288s I’ve gotten my hands on were terrible and usually only good for salvaging a few parts from. Love your videos. Keep up the great work.

Hey Walt, I’m now using echo red armor in my equipment for the reason Richard Flagg has shown the superior lubrication qualities above most, unless you can find Honda hp2, but the price and availability is great for what the red armor does. Love the day in the woods, campfire, tractors, bonus train footage.

Trees with opposite branching "mad cap horse" or m=maple A=ash D=dogwood cap= caprafoliatia, Horse= horse chestnut

There is a fungus that can be injected to save the ash from eab but its really expensive like 200 a tree and its got to be reapplied every few years.

I was told anything over 20 inches in diameter should be injected. There is stuff you can mix up according to the diameter for ratio and how far away you can pour on the ground.
