some guys watch these You tube channels, and say things they hear to women. She didn't really go into detail about how he was toxic so she could be valid or not. A good general stance on things is that people don't like being told what their going to be in the relationship. Ex: "Guy needs to pay for first dates because that's a man role, to be a provider". There are a lot of guys that love doing that for significant other but saying it puts emphasis on something that's already pretty natural and baked into society already. Saying it only makes the person feel more they are being used than being a actual partner. If you want a certain type of person look for someone with those traits and verbally/physically uplift them for having it. it will encourage them to do it more
