Fun fact. The voices from Shattered Dimensions switch around. Josh Keaten was the voice of Ultimate but is now Amazing and Christopher Daniel Barnes was the voice of Noire but is now 2099 which honestly fits PERFECTLY. Truly Captures 2099's GRIT The devs WANTED to make a sequel to Shattered...BUT they wasn't given enough time which is why this game is so short, barely has bosses and reuses a lot of shattered combat wise. But the story is AMAZING. Its sorta a REVERSE Web of Shadows situation, that focused on combat, this focused on story. Kind CRAAAZY that so many games for one of the BIGGEST heroes in fiction were HALF BAKED because of the producers being GREEDY🤦‍♂️

Just so you know, the developers wanted to add a whole lot of variety of bosses and scenarios but had like 1 year to finish the game. The writing i think makes up for all of that. And the Anti-venom inclusion was a creative and spot-on decision imo

The anti-venom symbiote isn't a living symbiote, Mr negative touched Eddie Brock which caused his white bloodcells and the remaining symbiote in his bloodstream to go into overdrive and birth the new symbiote. And like shown in the game his power is to "Cure" impurities like Peter's radiation based superpowers

This was the first game I ever got for the xbox and it is still my favorite Spider-Man game, the dark vibe throughout the game and a few scary parts too, it was all so good, plus the design of both 2099 and Amazing Spider-Man, gorgeous

When I first played this game I didn't know what I was in for and was so crushed at the prologue, it also took me a while to finish the anti-venom boss fight because I was always scared of the part where you had to look for him in the gateway part lol

1:44 I don't know much about Anti-Venom. But if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure he cures anything he think is a disease. So I guess he saw the genetically altered spider dna in Peter's body, as a disease.

Brock is unknowingly cured of his cancer by Martin Li, who possesses the Lightforce abilities, and Brock believes it to be a miracle. Peter David is also a famous yet underrated comic book write who's wrote some amazing runs for stuff like Hulk, Spider-Man, Supergirl, X-Factor, etc. He's also written for Ben 10: Alien Force and the Young Justice show that adapted his work on the Young Justice comic.

I finished this the other day, and while i love 2099 spiderman, and some of the story in this game, the overall game, was a horrible experience. I streamed it and the fighting was horrible, I actually stopped playing at one part and smashed my controller on my face to win a fight, literally. I hope they can make a good 2099 game one day.

this is how i hope the tone is for MSM2, serious and darker than before, peter getting his butt whooped by Anti Venom is also something i wanna see in the sequel. IMO this is one of, if not THE best spider-man game and some of Keaton’s best work. My personal favorite Spider-Man VA edit: i rate it a 8 but i’m biased since it’s my childhood. The repetitive combat is what dumbs it down 2 points for me
