For 2 years we have been without a washing machine. We honestly felt like it wasn't that big of a deal to just go to the laundry mat. After having it again... It would be hard to go back! I don't think Olivia smiled this much on our wedding day! haha

I love watching your videos. Please reconsider or research putting a utility sink next to an electric panel. Plumbing should be at least 3 feet from a panel. Just look into the local codes there. I just love how your babies are there and involved too ♥️

Haha! Yeah, we got a little itchy afterward but a good shower took care of that. The laundry mats weren’t terrible but this sure is more convenient. Haha

Good job! I have had to do the same thing. If you treat it like a wringer washer, you can save on water. You can also have two drums sitting beside the washer into which you pump wash water into one and rinse water into another....then using the pump, just put back in and reuse it multiple times if it is not to grimy. Just a thought as hauling water to do laundry is not fun!

Oh hey! That’s a really good idea! I know the water we get is free and we aren’t really wasting anything but after conserving water for so long it’s just hard to think about how much water is used to wash clothes 😅 I didn’t include it in the video but we are running a French drain out for the drained water so once that is all set up maybe I’ll feel better about it. Haha.

@@BreakingNewRoots One doesn't realize how much water things use till you have to start hauling it in and./or out. Your water may be free, but it is still a job that has to be done - and if it can save you a trip or two to get more...time saved. Good idea on french drain.

Yes it is. We are leasing a farm with a house on it and we are remodeling the house. We love it here!
