Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we jump back on Turtle WoW on our forest troll Elemental Shaman and start progressing through their new PvP Vanilla server with the ultimate goal of reaching Gilneas City.
In this video we start off by being a windfury menace in Arathi Highlands, push towards level 40 so that we can get our Shaman racial (which we picked troll specifically for!), finally switched to the Elemental spec and started questing in our final form, one shot some random hunter, and then ran the brand new Gilneas City dungeon for the first time in this playthrough.
This video actually accomplished most of my long-term goals for the new Turtle WoW series. I still want to reach max level so I can try that content, but as of this video, everything pre-60 has been accomplished. That's a big milestone for the character!.

Why didn't I think of that idea? Racial powers that scale with leveling and unique class skills for each race. A hunter is a hunter but they feel slightly different with each race.

I started a hunter on the OG server on turtle wow back when you first featured it on your channel. I only started really levelling after past month or so and I'm at level 45 doing gilneas right now and it is SO GOOD. Thank you for bringing spotlight to this amazing server love you and the vids. (Also why is it that all of us wow classic fans also play and love OSRS, literally the only 2 games I play)

Will also try season mastery going as warrior tank, since thunder clap can be used any defensiv stance while having the rune, sunder armor dealing dmg which is great and probably allow charge in combat, which is huge.

100% agree. Season of discovery has an initial cap of 25 for like 4 to 6 weeks. 25 is so easy even a casual can get to that in a week or less. SoD will have hype for a week or two and then people will leave till the next phase.

The reason why he named his pet the same name is that in pvp when his opponent targets him, it can be actually his pet what is the target (same name), and by the time that opponent realizes it, it can be too late. Its actually very smart. I did the same thing.

To be fair, I think our (and yours as a result) entire understanding of what makes a good skill tree comes from the early MMO Devs. If they had not iterated on these trees other the years, if we had not seen the flows and felt them, then we would not be able to look at old trees and be like: "Wow, they really suck". Back then, it was all that people knew, devs and players alike. We are standing on their work, which is why we can have such condescending views of their past mistakes.

No break, you went from awesome 1 shot master enhance to baby play Elemental. Enh can one shot all the time, ele can only do it once every 3min then your dog doo doo for 3mins Also chain lightning does less damage on the main target than lightning bolt does, other than CL having a .5sec cast faster cast time than LB, it would be better to LB>Ele Mastery> LB > ES

22:30 I genuinely think a lot of the issues people have with pvp servers would be fixed if you weren't able to attack grey players. There is simply no good reason why you're even able to chain gank lowbies, and the only people who defend it are these degen pieces of shit who get off ruining other people's experience. People like the idea of opting into a dangerous pvp world, but what they're really opting into is being repeatedly ganked by some sweaty asshole with nothing better to do. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to put up with the griefers who ruin it for everybody else.

Yeah, I proposed an anti-gank mechanic on Turtle's subreddit, but got downvoted. A lot of people apparently thinks two-shotting a grey is PvP. I'd rather have gameplay surrounding it, like some sort of bounty on the ganker so that kind of behavior gets punished and is dis-incentivized.

Sorry to say, gettgin camped on a PvP server is not F'd up at all.. it is there meant for combat.. cant expect the rest of the world to hold your hand and not play how they want just because you want to roll on a PvP server but not deal with everything else that comes with it.
