@@mr.equity1120 because of the assumption in public by others thinking the mother cheated on husband and having a white baby rather than thinking the baby was adopted or from a past relationship, and also thinking they'd be unable to raise the child properly I guess cause that's how a racist's mind works also, there have been stories where parents get kidnap attempts of their child in grocery stores just because the child didn't look like them, the entitled person thinking they have to "save" the child and all

The friend actually made an update after OP passed and talked about her in the most wonderful way, and tbh, I legit cried. She never finished the painting, but she did finish the emails, journals, and videos. The friend said that the girl is asking about her mom and why she isn't around, but the friend said that since the girl was so young, they are trying to find an age appropriate way to explain everything. All in all, the friend said that things are going well, save for the grief they're feeling of the loss of OP. She also explained about OP's situation that has the child's father in jail and can't be around children. In short, OP was taken advantage of by someone in the system, and they (the system) refused to allow an ab*ortion, so, she had the child, aged out, then tried to find her own way in the world. The father is in prison and will most likely never get out, between what he did, which, he didn't just do it to her, they found SO much cp on his WORK LAPTOP, and got other children to admit what he'd done to them. So that, and what prison inmates do to people who hurt kids like that...guy probably won't ever see the light of day outside the prison ever again.

Story 1 : He 100% did the right thing, he's not forced to do it though and if he chooses to abandon her then he's well within his right after what she did to him. Story 2 : She may have messed up in life royally but she definitely didn't fail in being a good Mother, glad she had such amazing people she could rely on in her final moments.
@mannydcbianco5 ай бұрын
Story 1: He would have been completely justified in completely ghosting her and not talking to her after she cheated on him, but he chose to be helpful despite what she did to him, which was certainly a kindness she didn't deserve, so kudos to him for showing empathy for someone who doesn't deserve it. But now that he has given her advice on how to deal with Tyler's theft he should probably go completely NC with her, or she will continue to call him for support and she will little by little talk her way back into his life. It'll be more phone calls asking for advice at first, then "maybe it's better we just meet for a coffee somewhere and talk face to face", then "it's easier if I just come over to your place instead, I can cook something" and then.. well, at that point she will be angling for spending the night and using sex to convince him. And he might very well fall for it.
@joshuaslawson91255 ай бұрын
@@mannydcbiancohim going NC at this point would be completely unjustified. First of all she specifically mentioned only the thrill of rekindling an old flame to her friend, and felt immense guilt, two she still needs some support at least being on friendly terms would be healthier for the both of them to allow closure and friendship, maybe or maybe not a relationship in the future but the worst thing he could do at this point is go NC.

@@joshuaslawson9125why would that be the worse thing? He don’t owe her anything that not being in contact would be some bad thing. She cheated, Lied and treated him horribly because of it but since she feels bad now that she in a situation that could’ve been avoided had she kept her legs closed to other men he should keep contact? Play Superman and save her from her own choices? That makes no sense. She need to pull her big girl panties up and handle the consequences of her actions. She still has friends and family she don’t need him to help. A lawyer/police is who she really should be getting advice from there’s nothing much he can do. She’s just trying to fall back to him since what she had with her ex didn’t work. That’s not fair to him to even drag himself back in there.

First story, he should definitely limit contact. As the person who did nothing wrong, op's mental health should be protected. His ex cheated on him, lied about it, and then defamed him to his friends for his completely reasonable break-up to attempt to manipulate him into feeling guilty for it. Now, she wants him to be her emotional spouse that gives her everything she needs while she doesn't give anything in return. Anyone, at any time, can have the courtesy to tell the person that they supposedly care enough to be in a relationship with that "hey, my ex is back in my life, and I don't think I can make this work" and break up with them instead of cheating, but if you cheat you lose the privilege of the other person's kindness, time, and effort. Nobody should say otherwise.

Story 1: The end of this story tells so many things about OP, that he is a genuinely good person, that he is on the road to recovery, and that this event has not made him stray from being true to himself. He definitely did the morally right thing, he had every right to hang up on her, to let her drown in her own problems, but he didn't and helped provide verbal commentary to help her try to get back on track. I do agree with his friends though that going forward if he has no interest in being in her life, if she ever calls back he needs to end the call with setting that boundary, that he wasn't going to turn her away blindly but going forward she needs to find alternative assistance.
@454fire5 ай бұрын
First story, it's up to him if he wanted to help her with the situation. I don't think anyone would've blamed him if he told her to kick rocks given the factors surrounding the end of their relationship, but the fact he helped was a nice gesture as well. Especially when he was very adamant that there was no pathway to reconciliation and that it was purely advice regarding the situation. After all, I also assume that there is some shame from her side as well if she is calling OP who she cheated on. Was she scared to call anyone else in her circle for advice? Or did she perceive him as smart with money given he was in accounting and wanted his advice?
