It's crazy how you went from 1st with Bowser Bad Wagon to 9th with the combo right after that and the last two worst combos in the game. Also I'm enjoying a lot of the theme type of videos in Worldwide Lobbies. Competitive Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is awesome too, but it's refreshing for yourself probably to take a break from that but also shows your viewers the massive gap in skill level doing the Road To Diamond Rank 2 and just randoms Worldwides for the normal online game mode, you can even secure top spots with lesser combos then anyone in Worldwides

@@jimrdm71biddy isn’t better. teddy (not in my opinion but for majority) think that teddy has the perfect mix of speed and mini turbo. I believe that scooty is the best as I believe that it’s just the better option overall

@@jimrdm71 All of what you're saying is true, but speed still remains as the second best statistic in the game and is as important of a factor to take into consideration. A combo that heavily lacks in speed can be really penalizing against more balanced ones even if it has the highest mini-turbo in the game, like the babies' class combined with the Biddybuggy. Some people, including JPGiviner, believe that a good balance between mini-turbo and speed is better than high mini-turbo alone. Not to mention the difference in mini-turbo between the Teddy Buggy and the Biddybuggy is only 0.25 big, which makes the Biddybuggy not this much better in that regard.

So if you're not drifting at all, you are simply not playing well. You just won't be able to make some turns while maintaining your speed if you don't drift. That being said, if you want to take more straightaways, you probably want to run a higher speed combo. Something like Funky Kong + Inkstriker + Roller Tire + Paper Glider trades some mini turbo for speed, giving you fewer opportunities for snaking, which means you lose less speed for not doing so. This is also very much a bagging combo (you do less snaking when you are bagging, and you get more benefit from speed items, which you will get more of if you bag), and you get a pretty decent advantage in Rock Rock Mountain as a bonus. That being said, running a high speed combo presents its own challenges, namely you have less handling. Strong players like JPG don't talk about it much because good driving can compensate for bad handling, but if you are not used to running a low handling combo there will be a noticeable learning curve.
