six years was not long enough! since o.p has control of the perfume business I hope she does something that would cause her aunt to be sent to a funny farm for life if word were to reach out. selling it to regain the money would be too easy, perhaps converting it from perfume into something else would be better. after all who knows some of the scents the aunt was selling might even be stolen formulas under another name.

OP should have defended herself against her Aunt. She could have smashed a window started a fire disposed of aunt in her sleep etc. The Police would have been the immediate call to make. Aunt wouldn't be able to do much from prison. OP volunteered for her fate.

If after being broght back to health her aunt pinned her to the ground and was going after her... she got out of it without being assaulted while kept in her room. The only thing that could have been done better was having her friend call the police and her grandpa. You can't lock anyone in a room like that. I agree that she deserved more than 6 years. An attorney should have been overseeing everything. My advise now is in her heart to forgive her aunt ( not in anyway agree with what she did) but never forget or let her back in her life. And to make the best of her life in everything she does. That will punish her aunt more if Wonderland is stong and successful and her perfume is so successful it is advertized in magazines she reads in jail.

This is why you’re often told when you have kids and assets to make sure different people have the kids guardianship and the executor of the state. It’s not usually this egregious, but it’s fairly common for caregivers to overstep and use kids inheritances to cover excesses.
