I’m 57 and I’ve just come out as Queer. I have had total support from my 22 year old daughter and all her friends and I have been welcomed by a whole new set of LGBTQ+ friends too. How lucky am I. 💕 I would add though that however you arrive at your gender or sexuality,, be it nature or nurture or kindness or trauma, you are worth just as much as anyone else and your identity is just as valid as anyone else’s.

You gone through a rite of passage that all of us go through--independence from our parents. It's so good to hear you've had the courage to declare yourself to yourself and them; now you shape yourself into the man you are meant to be.

Hey Toni! You (and your brother) are amazing people, and I'm so happy you now have the liberty and space to feel good about yourself. I hope you and your brother can be there for each other in the coming years. Whether or not you now identify as spiritual in some way, I myself am confident that Creator adores you as you are, and rejoices in your freedom. Love to you.

Tony, that was a beautiful story, and I'm glad you've come to the place you are (or were two years ago). You sound happy. I always feel so bad for queer people who are born into religious families that try to "groom" them into being something they're not. I may be a bit extreme, but I think religion is the root of most of the evil and hatred in the world--and always has been. I'm glad you found your community of support and escaped the unpleasantness of your birth family. I wish you all the best--and you're a handsome guy and seem quite sweet.

As a straight but not narrow, disabled but able to rock singing Superheroine ally, who has the archetype of being the I/DD kid sister with special needs, I am sworn to help the non disabled GLBTQ and protect them from the evil triphobes. I will admit that some of them even think that if they were straight, they would marry me in an Atlanta minute. At least I have fought for their right to get married and keep their jobs. I would be honored to team up with Surge Of Power and Idol Boy and help their protégés out. In my case, I would be honored to team up with that nice lady who has the Uru Hammer. I would help Surge and Idol Boy educate these heroes on disability sensitivity and inclusion of GLBTQ and disabled superheroes on their teams. Of course, they would have me come to their rescue, but if anything get very messy, a saber comes out of nowhere and I say that line- It's Phantom Highlander! And, the fans go wild when he appears! Of course, Metal Master says: Oh no! It's Danger Woman and The Phantom Highlander! I'm out of here! I don't want to be sent to the mental hospital and go through conversion therapy! At least Surge would be proud that Phantom Highlander and I scared the evil Metal Master and sent him running. Of course, the pets would pounce Metal Master and Nana Swiss Collie and the pups would growl at this bad villain, and Nana barked as if to say: Don't move, human! Metal Master would say: Now, now, Mrs. Swiss Collie. Please don't judge me too hasty. Nana Rrrrrrrrred, as if to say: I think you need a time out, you bad human. At least the police would thank us for coming to the rescue. DangerWoman

Ah seems like a lovely guy. I hate the word queer tho. To me it means strange. How about your a guy that happens to like to the same sex. That’s it. No labels. Just being you. I hope things get better with his family. I am sure they will in time. At least they are trying to be supportive.
@tonyneil76943 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching the video! For me, queer meaning strange is why I like the term. In the eyes of our heteronormative society, I am strange. In the eyes of christians, I am strange. Queer for me means something other than cisgender heterosexual. So I don't identify with being a guy, or identify fully with being "gay." But I understand if queer is an uncomfortable word for some people. Use whatever term(s) you are comfortable with. It is your identity and your life, no one should tell you how to live yours. 😀

In other countries, you can't even disclose that information freely. Family attachments also make you restricted to one place. If you want one, you need to be ready to sacrifice the other.

@@alioramus1637 You need to think about it again. You will only get one life. Is that how you want to lead yours? I am also a bisexual, btw. And I have decided not to get married. It's one thing to keep it hidden from your family members, but it's a different thing if you hide it from your partner.

@@alioramus1637 You say you live in Sweden. That's a free country. You don't need to worry about keeping up with your cultural expectations. But if you are more attracted to girls, then your decision makes sense. As you yet to fully explore your sexuality, you wouldn't know where you stand as of now. It took me till I am 28 to fully know about myself.
@alioramus16373 жыл бұрын
@@Pradeep_889 Yeah i hear you. It's tuff to explore my sexuality because all my life kept being lectured about how same-sex desires comes from the devil and about how un-african it is. That created a fear within me that if i ever act on these same-sex desires i would be hurting myself and my soul.
