Unfortunately there are SOME people who have CHOSEN to leave bad comments for the L.E.O.’s and the ambulance crew. That truck driver made his OWN CHOICE to attempt his “jump”from that STILL MOVING VEHICLE. THEREFORE that driver did himself bodily harm ALL ON his OWN. I am ONLY GUESSING here, but from what I saw while working in a hospital, that driver MIGHT have done to his OWN STUPIDITY AT THE VERY LEAST IS A TBI, and MAYBE broken face bones, broken ribs, broke neck, spinal injuries, punctured lung(s), MAYBE internal organ injuries, pelvic injuries, etc. His OWN truck DID run over him. @@Wyomingchief I'm talking about the pattern and can clearly hear the pattern. You don't have to see it, you hear it. Cheyne-Stokes is not a diagnosis of anything but is a road sign to a bigger problem and where to look. What I didn't say, was that there was probably some neck trauma in there too. Combine all that and you would hear what sounds like snoring, but isn't. My point was simply to draw attention to the pattern in hopes that people will educate themselves and learn something easy to understand and important. Also, why would you handcuff a person before you assess the severity of his injuries and whether he is even capable of running away. I’m not condoning what this idiot driver did but everyone has a right to be medically treated first and foremost.

There are 8 seconds, after the pit manoeuvre, that were not caught on camera, then the camera shows the truck travelling in reverse and the driver getting flung out. During those 8 seconds the driver ( with no seatbelt on) could have been violently, thrown across to the passenger side and then back again as he hit the median and with such force, it is possible, that the door handle was activated and he was thrown from the vehicle. Those that choose poorly suffer the consequences. The offender chose to run and put so many innocent lives in jeopardy and bought a free pass to the ER and more. The officer was being a Good Samaritan and is covered by his response to the offender/victim under the universal Good Samaritan Clause.

As a former EMS technician the ambulance personnel was way too slow. This was a I’m thinking the man was a trauma patient from the sounds of his breathing and being unresponsive after being thrown at 100 mph. I wonder if they ever heard of the golden hour or load and go. Should call the crew the grand reaper squad.
