This was clearly made for MMC, a precursor to SD. They're a tad thinner and would probably fit in the K@zoo just fine. Also, the RCA name hasn't really meant anything since 1986. The company was acquired by GE, its divisions sold off and/or liquidated, and now it's just a name that gets licensed for whatever.

Rofl multimedia card is the precursor to sd cards, thinner and lower capacity. Mmc cards will fit and work in sd card slots but not the other way around which is why the sd card fit in so tight and you snapped it! Lol

Before USB actually became Universal nobody knew which standard would win out in the end; big companies would just use two or more connectors, but small ones trying to cheap out on everything - or ones wanting to build the tiniest gadgets they could - sometimes used the connector for whatever standard they thought would win and just ran the other one through the same connector using one of those cursed cables. I had this EXACT same player and it was my first MP3 player. Loved the audio quality and not through the provided headphones and hated the need to use software especially MusicMatch Jukebox. I should have waited for the layer Lyra model which originally used software but was issued a firmware update that removed the need for software. I still have this player and it does still work and play but I cannot change the music stored on it because it uses this proprietary .mpx encrypted file format and putting in a memory card with mp3 files on it will not work. I actually widened the slot on mine to accept an SD card but I am unsure if it will work. Thanks for featuring this player and it was a pain to get working because I wasn't good at computer stuff back then.
