To anyone wondering how to get that beautiful "repeating" intro down, use a digital delay at 320 ms. Crank the mix (~80% wet) and keep the feedback low. The riff is at about 140 bpm using eighth notes.

Wilfred its funny you should mention the conspiracy because back in the day when he had gone on facebook and posted a rant about the summerian records label my friend had shared it a few days before his death and i remember saying to him "Dude something is going to happen to him for speaking out against the label." surely enough he was dead 3 days later and me and my buddy were in complete disbelief. The beginning is all just guitar with dotted eighth delay on it by the way, and the guy playing it, Justin, died last year under some particularly sad circumstances so it sort of adds up when you hear the sad sounding intro. I agree about the vocals though, not my sort of thing either.

+Logan Abbott This song is boring and tacky. It's 4 minutes of the same 16 bars. Every instrument is playing the same syncopated rhythm. There is little to no dynamic variation. The only 'interesting' part of the song--- the lead w/ delay is tacky because the thing that makes it interesting is that it's saturated with effects. Bland vocals and drumming. Rareform was a much better album. Compare this song to Meshuggah's Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion.
