Great video! These gimbals are truely amazing and one of the best upgrades I've done in 2022. I need to give the new stick ends a try. I currently use the lotus but am open to try new ones. 😃👍

The little detail with Bad Friends episode on the phone was nice :) Just ordered the tx16 with this gimbals.. hoping it satisfies my needs :D Jumping from the Zorro, so i kinda expect it :D and the batterylife improvment compared to the zorro :P

Haha you're the first to stay anything about the Bad Friends pod. I love recording longer build videos with my fav podcasts playing, and then just recording a voiceover later on over it. Still using these gimbals and love them!

They certainly look nice but at $140 a pop, which is almost as much as the regular $199 radio somewhat overpriced.But given that the regular gimbals have the silk-screen for the hatch marks missing and the marks are barely readable except in bright light conditions a must? Maybe a production mistake or a marketing strategy?

The best pilots fly the plastic HAL gimbals. As long as they are HAL, that's all you need. The plastic is lighter and the sticks will move faster because lss inertia, plus... the sticks are longer. For some reason they decided to shorten the sticks on the AG-01s which was a mistake. I've swapped in gimbals on the TX-16 plenty of times and it's not easy, it's a PITA putting in those 5 corner screws with the lowering plates. Very possible to strip out a screw seat and then you are phwwked and you have to come up with a clever way to hold that corner down. First thing anyone should do is replace theier stock ends. I can spot a noob immediately (even if they are supposedly pro).. but... horrible rates, stock stick ends, or by holding their sticks with a pinch grip. Why are you moving two fingers around, when it so much faster to move one. Yeah you should lose that hybrid grip, it serves no purpose. Take one hand and "steady" it with the other in front of you like your "hybrid grip" and move it all around in front of your face. Now let go, and move just one hand around independently. See the difference? You're faster, you're not having to coordinate between the two, you've got less inertia to move around, you're not fighting hands or arms.. 😕 Basically, if Mr Steele does something, it's the wrong way to do it. The guy does dang near everything wrong. He can spin around quickly in pace like a Super Mario Cart getting hit by a turtle shell, but that's about it.
