Check your Jumper and Radiomaster stick ends for a grub screw before you break them! The grub screw is in the top center of the stick. Loosen it before you unscrew the stick end!

I like the TBS Crown Jewels, I'm a natural thumber (gran turismo) but the indent makes Hybrid feel soo nice, so it kinda rewards good behavior. even if I have to force myself to hybrid, I end up flying smoother...

Those Grand Masters are my style, because I pinch the right and thumb the left. I use that control for RC Planes, Helis and Quads.

I got the grand master's last weekend and I love them on my Mamba. I had to file the base of the diameter all the way down to 9.5mm from 12.5mm. I'm not a hybrid pincher, but The grand master's seem to be the best ones for thumbing. But that wide 12mm base was killing me. Thanks for the video buddy💪

Hey Joshua, are there any aftermarket stick ends for the DJI radios? I love the ease of use and range the DJI radio provides to proprietary quads but those stick ends and switches are not good. Thanks.. You always cover the good stuff!

Just got the standard cylinder ones today and they are by far the best stick ends I've ever used. They kinda feel like those little prickly things that get stuck on your pants when you walk through the woods. Not sure how long they will stay nice and sharp since they are made out of some type of plastic but they are good enough to consider a disposable item and just replace them if they lose their bite in a few months.

seriously liking these ones you picked, i'm ultra hybrid pinch, and both hands are slightly different, my left hand is mostly thumb with index just there for emotional support, but my roll and pitch is more pure hybrid. (hybrid being thumb on top like a pure thumber but with index finger in constant fixed contact with stick) i did try bigger rounder sticks but they made the interface vague, the narrower heads are not liable to be vague about when you are at centre.

The ball / Thick ends may give you hand cramps at first for pinchers.. I found the reach needed is too much for my small hands.. *Latex / silicone tubing for the win, tacky when clean. Cheap and easy replaceable. choice of colours/shore/thickness and fits all standard stick ends ;) *

Maybe I'm weird but being a 'thumber' and using my Tango 2 primarily, I LOVE the sharp STP Star Power stick ends. I don't fly as well with dull/smooth sticks and I'm not hardcore enough to cut myself with my sharpies.

You can also use the stock bottom piece as a nut if it's to your desired height.

I use TBS honey sticks on my tx16s. I am fairly new to fpv and was just using stock until my buddy gave me these (he preferred the 533 sticks). I was a thumber until I put these on. Now I Hybrid and I love that my finger gets under the ball/knob. I instantly had more throttle control and pitch control yaw and roll - I lost a little snappiness. Over all - switching sticks and changing from thumb to hybrid greatly improved my skills. my hands are XL size and I use tx16s. Biggest issue I have with hybrid is not bumping switches with my finger. Still can’t finger out where to put my other 3 fingers (what he said).

i ran stock stick ends forever as i'm so resistant to change lol. i ended up going with some of these newer stick ends with super sharp spikes. i never thought i would like them but i'm a fan of sharp spikes now ! i'm also weird in that i am a thumber that typically hates most thumber specific stick ends. so try not to rule out a particular shape just because it is mainly designed for a pincher or thumber

Great info Joshua really appreciate it. I just received the Radiomaster TX16S Max today. I am having an issue in that the stick ends are really short. I can screw them out to a lenght however there seems to be no way to actually lock them at that length. Am I missing something? The JR sticks had a grub screw in the middle that you lock it in with and the Taranis X9D had a lock screw that you screwed up the shaft to lock the stick length. I know I could just use an M4 nut from my junk box but for a $299.99 radio I would have thought that Radiomaster could have added colour coded lock nuts!!!

I'm not expecting you to highlight any TBS gear but I went through a bunch of different stick ends until I got the TBS Crown Jewels and I find them to be the best ends for a hybrid grip. That scalloped side is perfect for resting your index finger making them very ergonomic and also helps with orienting your fingers so you always have the same grip. Highly recommend them. They are a bit sharp on top but nothing like the ag01 stick ends.

The stick ends on the AG01 gimbals are really sharp but you could dull them down with some 600 grit sandpaper to just take off the edge. Personally I don't mind them. I'm a thumber. I wish I could learn to pinch as it seems the best pilots do.

I hybrid pinch and I have tried quite a few stick ends. The TBS Honey were really cool but just a little too big for me. I have settled on vantac lotus style on top with the TBS Honey bottoms. I have them adjusted were the honey bottoms make a nice ledge for my finger. I may need to try some of these, I am curious how the squishiness feels compared to spikes.
