Anand ruining all his chances to take a huge lead and hence forth win the Sinquifield Cup. Even Nakamura said in an interview which he had with Maurice that "The only player in this tournament who had the solid positions to take an advantage or carry out something which eventually wins the games was Anand". He(Anand) was so frustrated(unlikely for Anand who is calm and composed) after Ding drew the game with him that He didn't even wait a second to analyse which he does basically for a while with his opponent. He knows that he has been consecutively missing those special moves as in order to play more positional. He's been missing tactical play which has already cost him +3 points in this tournament. I hope Anand plays like this to get solid position but doesn't ruin his games because of missing those engine or so called winning moves. Ding was fortunate and elated after making a draw. All hail Old Madras Tiger. He can still roar harder than young guns out there. Hope he wins. 🙌🙌
