Wipes the floor is just a disrespectful thing to say about a former world champion who despite being a generation older still has a decent record against Magnus

Man was the first GM from India in 1988. 30 plus years later, he is still our best player. That says a lot about his dedication and love for the game.

Magnus did an interview with Chessbase India. He had been given the critical positions from Anand's 9 best games and he had to find the opponent and the move. He got 8 of them correct. This game was one of them. Sorry if it was totally random!

Lautier exchanged his king for bishop, I think he loves democracy so much .In entire game lautier trying to save his bishop instead of his king. and that bishop betrayed him badly.

6:19: White's king is on g3 with no pawns in front of it and his bishop and rook are not even developed while black still has a queen a bishop and two rooks and an open f-file to attack Agadmator: Your king is _somewhat_ open

@@cyberman308cyberman5 no. He is an old timer now. Can't think that much when he was in his prime. He is 51 now. Garry kasparov retired when he was in his early 40s. I haven't seen anand win against Carlson a single time.

Anand took that bishop hostage and negotiated the way to a win. Always threatening to, but never really killing it. What a game! But h6 followed by bg6 is an insane combo. I wasn't able to figure it out even after seeing the move on board. So counterintuitive!!

@@keysersoze7919 Vishy is very tactical player with passive style. Sometimes he plays attacking chess but still its kind of style that grindes the opposition. So kind of boring. Still he's a champion no doubt but style of play is not that attractive.

Excellent to see the good stuff. Just a suggestion, maybe a video concerning the greatest endgames ever played, or perhaps the greatest opening novelties of the last 70 years or so, which im sure would include some nice Kramnik, Vishy and Topalov games, might please the viewers.

In 1639 there was a battle in Scotland called Bishops' Wars. I think that's an appropiate name for this game. You will hardly see such amount of gore provoked by the bishops.

White's Bishop dint even move in the entire game yet had such an impact!! Anand's game is very similar to my game where I have such bishops / pieces positioned in their original square while I get checkmated.

at 8:50 there's one more move which wins the queen rook to e6 check black pawn captures white bishop g6 check black pawn captures or king moves then the white queen takes the black queen on d4

Interestingly, this is the same line Leela would go for (1.e4 d5 is book) diverging on move 12 with castles. Rh3 is second option.
