If its a beer dependecy just increase vitamin B3 from niacinamide and the need will go away. With ascorbic acid the effect is better.

At 9:13, wouldn't Qxg5 be an option maybe? With ideas of either a Queen trade or forcing the attack back (in which case, there is no defending the Knight)?

"The Vincent Keymer Saga" begins with multiple trips to the wood-shed. Since he's the "Bobby Fischer of Germany" supposedly, I wonder if BF ever faced such a gauntlet of high level talent while still a 14-15 year old? If so, did he manage to win or did he suffer as badly as young Keymer with four straight loses. The kid is still awesome. Hats off to you, young Vincent! Chin up and forge onwards!

I don't watch much live chess but this was such a cool game to watch. Nothing was happening and then bam. They both got down to 10 minutes and everything started going wrong for Vincent and I loved the shock on Leko's face when Naiditsch played Rf6. It truly was a thing of beauty. (Out of interest as well can someone tell me what languages aronian speaks because he kept saying sí)

beginner's question: on 12:19 instead of rook to E1, shouldn't white grab the FREE pawn on D5 with the white bishop ? that would be a check mate threat now that the rook protects te queen...

Why wouldn't you capture the white pawn with the bishop at 7:20? Black has its knight and queen defending if white decides to attack with his bishop and queen. Then black is up a queen. Can someone point out what I'm missing?

An absolutely gorgeous game and I know you tried your best to cover the main lines but there are so many pieces seemingly hanging in Naiditsch's attack that it's almost impossible to cover each line. I think this game deserves a much more in-depth look. I'll try it out on stockfish.

Hah, I played so many games with that line as White as a junior. F4, h3, g4, f5 etc. Won a lot of them. Never felt like I had a great answer to Nd4 by Black though, maybe Keymer should have gone for that.

You can't expect more from Keymer. Wei yi and Rapport which play in the 2700's never have fare well in strong tournamens like this. But he will.
