I thought teen did mention his mom at the mall when they went to recruit Alice, saying that his mom was a fan of Alice's mother, before she died "RIP.." I am convinced that the heavy-handed connections between teen and billy is a misdirect to make us doubt if he is Wanda's kid like we all know already.

One it’s confirmed that teen is Billy, they are trying to trick us by saying he could be Agatha’s son secondly Mrs hart will be buried next episode and as the trailer shows us Rio Vidal comes up out of the ground, so she either disguised herself as Mrs hart which is possible because they have her the antidote at the last second or Rio uses Mrs hart body to transport herself to the road because she is mistress death

He is both.... He is orphaned as a baby. Renamed Billy and adopted by the Kaplains. And he will play Wiccan in Young Avengers. But his birth name was Nicholas. He knows he is adopted. He discovers that Agatha is or could be his mother and becomes obsessed with learning everything he can about her. Discovered she's a witch and starts to tap into his abilities shortly after. He put the sigil on himself because he doesn't know how Agatha will react to his claim. Teens reaction to Agatha sacrificing her kid. And subsequent reaction to the notion she probably would not recognize him if he were standing right in front of her...say a lot. At minimum...that he at least thinks he is her son. I believe they are going to give many more hints to set him up as Bill Kaplain to set him up as the MCU's Wiccan for Young Avengers. But his powers will be from Agatha and Mephisto as he was Nicholas Scratch. Wanda's Billy is also a piece of Mephisto. And if chaos magic was used to conceive Nicholas..that would make him Wanda's offspring/creation too. So many ways to spin this. But I think it would be cool to make him a piece of both witches and the future Wiccan.

I think he is Wiccan and will reprise the character in Young Avengers. But, I don't think he is Wanda's Billy. I think teen is Agatha and Mephisto's child. Something like, Agatha agrees to give Mephisto her 1st born child for the Darkhold. A piece of Mephisto is put in Agatha to conceive that child. He is born and named Nicholas by Agatha. Her memories suggest she raised him for several years before Mephisto came to collect. Teen unwittingly becomes an (sleeper)agent of Mephisto. Returned to earth and given the name Billy by his adoptive parents the Kaplans. Now...the MCU gets there Billy Kaplan/Wiccan for Young Avengers. Can explain his magic as the son of Agatha. Doesn't have to bring Tommy back because the MCU has very little interest in putting a speedster on any of their Avenger teams.

I believe another KZbinr pointed out that each witch plus Sharon were wearing a crest. Each crest has specific meanings that could pertain to each of them individually. Sharon’s crest signified “rebirth”, which could be a hint that she will be revived.

I deeply enjoyed this episode a lot. Not only it made me completely nerd out about theories about who Teen really is (my money is on Nicholas Scratch), but it also made me geek out SO HARD about a potential appearance from Mysterio following his name drop by Jennifer Kale. On the sadder side, I’m kind of upset they killed off Sharon too soon. I really enjoyed her presence a lot and I was hoping she would get more of a bigger role. 😢 Nevertheless I’m so excited to see what the show has to offer.

One thing about the MCU that has been a problem is power levels. A clear example is Captain America slugging with Ultron in Korea. I like the fact that there is some substance being given to witch craft by designating different kinds of witches (potions, divination, protection, green) and exploring what their power sets are. But what kind of witch is Agatha?

Well Technically Mephisto was on a footnote in Captain America The first Avenger. I think she traded her sons life from Rio (Death) for the Darkhold to keep him alive. Kind of taking a burden from her. Then when it comes to "Teen's' parents they are mentioned that there are two bodies in accident, i think that Wanda saved her sons soul when she killed the Hex inadvertently. (Just saying he is 16 this happned three years ago he mentioned that he had trauma when he was 13.....Parents died when His soul took hold of this body. So he blames Wanda to a degree

My guess is that billy is actually tricking the coven. He either wants revenge for his mother, Agatha being the one who introduced her to the Darkhold in the first place. Or he wants revenge on his mother for creating him then dissolving him and trapping him in whatever realm he came from. Hes totally a rep of Mephisto. I think he thinks hes a henchmen of mephisto, but will be revealed as wandas son when she has to save him from mephisto.
